What do you usually do during your free time?

In my previous company, I used to hang out with my friends and officemates. We used to go on a roadtrip without any plans usually after shift. We really enjoy each other's company, joking around, insulting each other and reveal each others secret. But since,I have transferred to another company, we have lesser time to spend with each other. We don't really see each other anymore. But the communication is still there which keeps us all connected to each other. We let everyone know what each and everyone is doing. I have managed to gain new friends in my new work but somehow I miss my friends in my old job. I am very lucky to have them. I will always treasure them.

I have many free time, but it seems that I do not make good use of it.
Usually I like surf on the web to see something new happened in the world, and sometimes i find something i want to know, so i will try to get resources and learn it by myself.
And in the weekend, if my friends ask me go out, I will go out with them to parties and some other actions.

Yeah, I have a job I love and I have manage to gain friends in my new company. But,of
course not all people will accept and understand you. There are some that will judge and hate you even if you are not doing anything to them. That's just one of the things I hate in my new company. But, its actually normal and its part of the everyday challenges we face. =)

a pleasant day to you,
before when i was still an employee, i am using my free time in self studying. reading some write-ups in the field of photography. as my friends are also in the same field. then, we often go on a field where we can do a photo shooting. but, that was before. when i have resigned from that job, my path was redirected into a freelance entrepreneur. hence, in this field, i am motivated to do and have more earnings. so i am converting my free time into an amount of money that i earned from every thing and every service that i do. thus, for me, if i have a free time, that is the time to have another idea to earn more.

It's lucky for u to own that great relationships in your company.
In my working environment, all the colleges are around ten years older than I and it's a little torturing and quite hard to find the familiar interest among us and the talk will be focused mainly on their children. I really know so little anout that, the main point is, we never share the same opinion on everything.
So in my spare time, i stay together with my roommates, they are sisters around my age. It's fun to hang out with them, we always cook for ourselves, go out shoping together and enjoy our young life fully together! But the paradox is, I always wanna increase myself by reading more, and I can't help hanging out with them instead of staying alone by myself reading or doing anything....

Micatolentino, I also used to have friendships similar to yours when I used to work at my old university (and I was younger!). We used to have so much fun and connected on so many levels. Then, we all moved on etc...the great thing is that those who were real friends from that time are still friends with me now.
My free time now, I mainly use to explore, exercise and to socialize. I like trips to the art galleries, museums or various exhibitions. Also outside concerts, picnics and trips the mountain and the beach. To be honest, I have not done enough of that in the last few weeks and I have some very annoyed friends right now, due to my cancelling every time.
Thing is, exercising and getting healthier is my top priority, so if I do have free time now, I tend to channel it into running, swimming or dancing. I know: boring. Ah well, it is the best I can do for now...

Unfortunately, I don't have all that much spare time at the moment because of my job, but this is something that I would like to change when I have managed to save up enough money to buy my flat, because this will mean that I save several hundred pounds each month from having to rent another place which I can't really afford. I like to read and watch television in my spare time, and I am also trying to get fit at the moment which means that any spare time that I have is often spent going out for walks to try and lose a little bit more weight and get fitter at the same time.

That is a nice way to spend free time. As for me. Since I am not yet working, I spend my free time watching movies at home, DVD or and most probably downloaded movies and series, read books and most of the time surf the net. There are also times when I feel bored and I go to a mall to be able to feel the life of society and during these times, I tend to watch movies or play at arcades. I would love to call a friend over but I have been used to them saying that they are either busy or have no money. I understand them because they usually save their money for big time outings instead of small ones. I know that when I get to work and it would be sooner because I would be graduating, I will be able to spend alot more time on activities that require expenditures. I would love to go island hopping or just travel the countryside. Much more in the future, I would love to go travelling

Well, you see, to be honest I do not have a job, and I say also that I only have 3 true friends. People with whom I see regularly, and we fully agree. I do not want to enter in my list of Facebook friends, as most are people who probably will not see ever live. As for my free time, I prefer to pass it a rest, at least until I get the chance.

I miss those days wherein I'm working in a Call Center Company. It was one of the most memorable moment of my life. We do really have a lots of fun during our free time and a lots of treasured memories. One of our favorite past time is eating and killing our time thru gossiping.

Well, I don't usually have much free time, but when I do I will hang out with friends or surf the internet. Some of the time I spend on the internet is working on websites for extra money, I consider that to be my second job. I also like to just look things up and learn new things. I also like to be with friends and talk about whatever is going on in our lives. I wish that I had more time to do this.

hanging out with friends is usually on of the many fun ways to enjoy your free time. but as for me I usually spend much of my free time reading books that I love and yes I really love hanging out with my friends too! especially friends from my publication staff. It'd great to enjoy things with people who share your common interest.

Free time? That is something that more young people have. There never seems to be any free time during the day. With cooking, taking care of kids, the house, working, writing and any emergency that pops up the only free time that usually comes along is sleep time.
Way back before kids there was a lot of free time. A road trip, chatting on the phone, visiting a friend, going to the movies, going skating, trip to the library, reading a good book, swimming, riding a bike, the list went on and on.
Enjoy the extra time you have now for one day if will lessen and it will be missed!
