Californians have a mark under their belt...Prop 8 is unconstitutional. What does that mean? It means that the ban on the gays being able to marry isn't right according to the eyes of the general public people and courts. ~Stjarntydarna

It was very poorly written. A lot of people were shocked because they believed they were voting for gay marriage and banned it instead. Usually, in common launguage we see positive/negative like this yes=for no=against. Instead it was read as yes=against no=for. So while we may read yes=no on prop 8 unconciously we correct ourselves, "yes" is a positive, approval is positive, so yes=I approve.

It means those things in the state of California. I disagree with the decision and am afraid that this is the way the rest of the world will go as well. I disagree with the court and general public who say that gay marriages should be legal and acceptable. I am sure there will be a lot of people who will be all too willing to bash my opinion, but I believe as I believe.
