I'm the opposite, I would rather read the book.
I have Batman: Knightfall, both as the set of two graphic novels and as the actual book. I much preferred the book. There's just not enough writing in comics for me. Yes, I know there are pictures, but I mostly read the words.

It will take long time finish to read comic-its true and correct
this is simple and cool solution for the above mentioned
Problem....!!!
The solution is that we can read short comics.....So we can finish reading it in small period of time.
Also we read books and develop our knowledge for our day to day activities
and reading [novels] will be a great help to make an imaginary world while reading comics....!!!!
So don't wait.... start reading books as well as comics as soon as u get time
Wish all the comic and novel readers success to win the battles you find in your imaginary world..!!

I am the total opposite. Comics do not interest me in the least. Not sure why that is, they just aren't fulfilling for me. I like reading novels. I don't need pictures or thought bubbles. I like descriptions of characters, events, places, conversations, etc. I like reading details, unless it's too overbearingly long, in which case I don't like it. Ha. But I can honestly say I've never read a comic book all the way through before! They just bore me! *Shrugs*. I guess that goes to show how different we all are!

hi there,
i am not fond of reading comics nor novels but when was younger, i would read Archie
also if i were to read something, it would be documentaries. like people during the world war 1 or 2. and things like that.

hi there, i also prefer comic than novel, cause novel has too much words to read for, and sometimes could made me fall asleep. but comic is different, besides it is more interesting, i also can enjoy the drawing from the author. how good is a author to draw and think for the content of the comic.
