Watch out for ripoff programs.

The other day I singed up for a program called Commission Breakthrough. Whatever you do, I advise you not to sign up for it. I sat through the webinar, and saw that the one time fee was $34. I tried to close the page in the hopes of a discount, and there it was. $24 which was more reasonable. So I took the chance. I thought it would be an easy way to earn some money online without breaking the bank in order to do so. I downloaded the program, and it tried to get me to pay more for extras. I declined all of them, hoping that I'd get into the program to earn money soon. Well, to my disbelief, I found myself staring at a page that said that I had to pay for hosting if I couldn't put the site together myself. I didn't have my own domain, know nothing about coding, so I would have needed the site set up for me, at a huge cost. The site setup, the yearly domain purchase and hosting for a year came out to a whopping $213!! I was not going to pay that at all. So I opened a refund ticket calling the program misleading, stating that I wanted a refund. I get an email back stating that I'll get bonuses for free. No mention of the hosting or site setup fees. I emailed back stating if I found that I still needed to pay for hosting that I was not going through with it. Sure enough, I was still directed to the page that said I had to pay for the site. So I emailed once again and asked for a refund. This time, no email from the program owner, I wasn't getting the setup or hosting for free. I was sent the refund. It's too bad, I actually thought that maybe I'd get somewhere, but I was wrong. And I know that's the last time I trust a program I've never heard of, and something I don't trust. My instinct said to go for it, but my instinct was totally wrong. I was misguided and totally disappointed, but I guess I should have expected that. Oh well, live and learn. So don't make the same mistake I did. Leave these sites well alone, and don't waste your time or money on these programs. Stick with what you know. I'd rather pay for upgrades on sites I trust, and I will do that instead of try to get into programs like this again. It's just not worth it. I'll be checking my credit card info in the next few days to make sure that the refund was put through, otherwise I'll have to dispute the transaction.

Hi Kris! I am waiting for the boring, long-a$$ video to finish so I can get in and see what's up. I'm sure it's not a ripoff but rather a program that's just not for you. I can tell you right not, the owner must lose a lot of potential referrals because of the video. I HATE video sales pages and never hang around them more than a few seconds and here is minutes later and I'm still waiting! I will give you my opinion of the program after I get in. Cheers, Stan

If you have your own domain, have hosting of your own and can code your own site, you'd be ok. But since I have none of that, I can't do it, and do not want to pay $213 for hosting and whatnot. It's just not worth it at all.

Thank you so much kris182_2000 for the warning. There are really times when a program sounds very convincing and will make it look like that you're paying less for something big. It is really important to make a little research first before letting your money go into nothing. I hope many people will be more aware of scams like this because it's not only a waste of time but more importantly, waste of money.

This one promised actually that it was free. Then it said almost free. But when you scrolled to the bottom of the webinar page, it showed a one time fee of $34. If was for lifetime access. There was no way to research this to find out what else needed to be paid for. If I had been able to find this, then I wouldn't have wasted my time on it. I maxed out my credit card yesterday with that small fee, but thankfully it's going back onto the card. It's just not worth it. I would have to say that if you're not able to do any research on a program, then it's probably not worth signing up for and wasting your time on it.

I try not to go to sites that are like that. I will not consider most sites even if they say there is a one time fee. I am not willing to take the chance in most cases. I just hope that you were able to get your money refunded.

Hi Kris, in fact i do came across a few sites that mentioned they are offering free course for earning money through online. But, required me to download their program. Since they mentioned free at the beginning, so i went to the page where i could download their program but to my surprised, at the last page, it mentioned there i need to pay $97 as one time fee, to get that special program. So, i assumed that this program can't be trusted and i didn't go further to download it. I felt lucky that i didn't get cheated by it.

i've learnt that for each such product there is an upsell. at the begining they tell you how rich you can be with their software. then you pay and get the software but you are directed to an upsell... so, it's a cheating in a way because they tell you that if you put more money then you will have a chance to be "rich". so why didn't they say that the 1st sell will not bring me any good? i bought 5 softwares and it's all the same cheating!

Long story of getting cheated. Well read it and understand that greed for money make man to do what ever they want and most of the people fall in trap of what so called useless money making. These people who set net for the other and make fool to earn are worst. One must understand who is genuin and who doesn't for me 24 $ is a huge amount. I didn't have invested that much without search other place (even after that might be no). Well what happen forogot it and next time be careful. Now you had shown the frauds to mylotter so they will not fallen that dip.

Thanks for the headsup about this sign up program, you can never be too careful! I am sure it won't be in "business" much longer. It is sad that there are some sites out there that aren't trustworthy.
