I have read online about a certain "unrine therephy" that it is used to treat cancer and various diseases, and that drinking it would give you strenght. There was a even a video of Juan Manuel Marquez, from hbo of his boxing training of him drinking his urine, and him telling that he have been practicing it for quite a time now, and it really helped him gain strength. have you heard of this claim? i know that some survivors who have been stranded have drank their urine, in order to stay alive, it help them survive, just like from the movie 147 hours..

i pulled up some really interesting research on the subject. i found that drinking pee is actually an ancient practice used by people who find themselves in extreme circumstances.

sorry, let me continue.i hit my enter button too soon and my browser would not let me go back. lol. it is also said that there were squirmish people caught in extreme circumstances where they could not get any liquids. they chose not to drink there urine, and there time was shorter. i also found out the some people in siberia use it in rituals to bath and cleanse. drinking pee has been known to contain rich nutrients such as: salt, magnesium, calcium, potassium, vitamin C, and various B vitamins.
"is also prescribed that he must collect the urine midstream, after the first flow of pee clears away the bacteria and etc. lurking in the urethra and external genital area). " (rotten.com, 2012).
am i saying that you should drink pee. heck no. i bet it taste aweful. i am sure glad that i have liquids available so that i don't have to drink it. i don't know i would probably have to dehydrate. lol. my question is, what if you are not healthy.

Has it been medically proven? How can such dirty water be a cure to any disease? I've also heard about it. But it's unbelievable that it has health benefit. Further study should conducted to prove that it is true.

It is said that some materials in the urine can help cure heart disease. And there are also some traditional recipes using urine, like urine eggs, urine soup and so on.
But I do not think drink urine directly can have that benefits, it should be some process to make it workful.
By the way, I can not take it.

I don't think that there will be any benefits to drink the urine. Since the urine contains the waste from our body. So it is useless. But perhaps it can comfort some people who have poor health. And it can give them strength and faith to fight for the sickness. In this aspect, then the urine has its own amazing effect.

Here's your answer: Absolutely not! Drinking urine does not have any benefits other than saving the toilet water that you would flush.
Certain yoga practitioners claimed it would be good to drink it, but no solid scientific proof came to support the claim. And if urine was good, why would the body discard it? It contains a lot of kidney residue and, while it may somewhat look like apple juice, it most certainly not tastes the same (not that I have actually tested that!).

Urine is considered "waste" of our body that's why it is excreted through our excretory system. It is our body's way of removing harmful substances, then why would you take back toxins?

No thanks, why would I do that if there are other healthy things to drink?, well if your stranded then guess it would be better than none or drinking salt water, sure it will bring strength back cause it would rehydrate you, it's waste by product of the body, so I was thinking if I would put used motor oil back to my car. I'm not sure friend but I think JMM was adviced not to do that anymore in he's last fight with the Pacman, not so sure though if he folowed the advice.
