Oh yes! Suddenly everyone loves me. Everyone called and said they love me. Everyone ask sorry for whatever mistakes they've done (I don't even know what mistake) Suddenly friends came visiting, inviting for dinner, stroll and gifts are flooding. Wow! so,what are these? I am dying so I must enjoy the time left huh? Why can't we show love to our loved ones before they die? Do you think all these concerns will prolong my life or you are just adding more pain. I know it's not too late. But the truth is "I am dying" and time is not enough. Note: Show love to everyone who loves you every time you have the chance to make them feel. Never took them for granted for regret won't make any sense once you lost someone. Have a great day everyone jaiho®- I am not dying guys, just reminding us all 2-15-2012 2:48pm PT Wednesday

Sister, Do you think it is the real love? I don't think dear, it may be sympathy when knowing somebody is going to die. Definitely I won't do anything you mentioned like in that case. In fact I don't have the courage to do such things to a dying person for sure. If it a close one, I will do something to increase the 'will power' in that person which definitely helps in a positive way. However, I agree, most often we fail to show the real love and care to everyone one who love us.

dear sree, Whether it is sympathy or love- the person who is dying won't be bother to think the real meaning of those. I don't know but,I always feel guilty when someone I love is dying. As if,I haven't done enough showing my love. I just want to express my emotion here-one of love one is in dying bed

Hi didi.. I admit that its an odd way to show our concern or love to a sick person . Offering some foods, gifts never lessen his/her pain rather it increase the pain and sickness and remind him that s/he has a few time to live. Actually, most often we express our feelings and gratitude by awkward attitudes. Have a nice time.

I remember how she argue with her husband about mylot. But she never give up mylotting because this is one place where she can find peace and comfort

I think we should all live each and everyday as if it was our last day on this earth. We need to tell those we care about how much we love and appreciate them daily.

Can you make them sit for a while If they sit, they occupy more space... small rooms here... cannot accommodate all if they all sit... and also, we dont have that many chairs... so they can stand (if they can adjust, no worries, they can sit too) Flowers are flooding... eekss! we just lost a good opportunity - we could have minted good money yesterday chocolates Tempting... How many friends do have visited you till now

I have never understood why people wait til something tragic happens before they realize and acknowledge the good that someone had in them. Its like they are afraid to embrace the hear and now with the person they care about. Although we all use whatever means to get our point across. One thing is for sure, I agree in that making each day be the best we can, is the best way to remind everyone to live in the moment!

they asking for your sorry not to prolong your life, but maybe because they realize what your worth/importance for them..For me it's kinda irritating because some of them are just show off,not sincere or maybe they're scared that when you die, your soul will visit them.,LOL!

I am totally agree with Veejay19. We die permanently once but the truth is we die and live again everyday. We die while we sleep at night and come back to live in the morning. That's the reason why, we shouldn't keep regrets, grudge or whatever in the past. We should let it go. So is for the future, we don't have to worry about the future too much. What matter is this moment.

I kind of gotten that fact they you're not dying. I understand what you're saying. It does seem like people all of a sudden say their sorry when they hear news like that. Or they all want to be closer to you. It is sad that it takes negative to make a positive. But I do not believe that people go around wondering if their friends are dying or not. And if you actually did that as a joke and they found out it was not true, then they would not want to be your friend. Strange.

hello inertia, Well, nothing to worry. I never send any message containing like this to any of my friends. I am just citing one sad truth about life. Why people only realize the value of a person once they've lost, or when someone is dying. Why can't they show their love when that someone can still appreciate and enjoy the love and affection- and not on it's dying days. Have a great weekend

I totally agree and understand what you're saying. It does seem kind of funny that people want to be close to someone when they are dying. And all of a sudden they want to be nice to them and help them. You're right, people should be more attentive to people more often when things are fine.

omg!!!!jailho, isn't that a sad situtation what happened to you that all of a sudden you are getting more love than ever.. The world would be a much better place to live if that love, was shown through the year, everyday...Why must difficult issue come upon us to bring us together... when I had cancer I just left my job and no one was told but my immediate manager...there were a few people that I called and told them what was going on and asked them to keep it quiet because I really didn't want a lot of phoney people contacting me... But I am sure this happens more often than we realize.... Very nice post

People love the dramatics! When they see or learn that someone is dying, they can't help themselves but be within the drama. Thus, they say their hasty goodbyes, and express their unspoken care or love for the person. Yes, expressing these feelings should be an everyday thing. If we just learn this, then the world would be such a better place.

hello bounce, Yes, dramatic is one of the right word to describe. Since we do not know who really shows real care and love or just plain sympathy. If we only knew how to show our love everyday and if everyone knows how. I agree this world would be a better place to live in. thanks for your comment and have a good day

Hi jaiho: I completely understand what you mean but unfortunately that's the way humans act. We take people for granted and it's not until we realize that we may lose someone that we start caring and we show the love that we have. We should this with every person we love and not just because we fear that he/ she may die. But for most of them, their feelings are real so you should feel happy for that. ALVARO

hello Alvaro, Yes, we sometimes neglect our loved ones because we thought they will understand. We often neglect to show our loved ones because we think they are with us always and seeing them everyday is enough. Until we realize their value once we lost them. To show our love and care is not because we fear of losing them- but to make them feel they are important. To make them feel we want and need them in our lives not because they are our family, loved ones or friends- but because they are a part of us and they made our life complete. Thanks and have a good day always dear

I once read a quote saying "The secret of life is not just to live, but to have something worthwhile to live for, for we only live once, but if we live right, once would be enough". So, it's really great to spend quality time with our family and friends as if it will be our last day. We can do this by being grateful and appreciating everything that we have and by cherishing and spending quality time with our family and friends.. Life is too short..

hello jhuddith, It's not how long we live but how How people and our loved ones will remember us once we die. So,we must live according to what we wanted to be remembered. Like how bad people remembered for their wrongdoings and how good people remembered for their noble acts. Life is indeed short, loving and caring for our loved ones should not be taken for granted. For we never knew what tomorrow may brings or if tomorrow ever comes. thanks and have a good day

hello jaiho2009, good to know you're fine! Yes you are right that people will only show us care and love in times when we are in a dying situation. We feel the pain of being given attention only when we are at our last minuets, but this pain bring sort of happiness where in people regrets and ask forgiveness to us and to god as well, in this case you are god's instruments and your life makes it precious. Time may not be enough for some matters but for god you have done enough for him! You're a wonderful person why so many people loves you! God bless my friend!

hello myzhian, I am fine. I usually posted topic that sounds/looks confusing to other members who are not used to my style of posting topic (hehehe) But,I posted this topic because I witnessed true incident like this. When someone is dying, many people are there coming to visit and show sympathy. It's even hard to determine who are sincere and who are just there out of curiosity. But,it doesn't matter anymore. The dying person doesn't care whether it is sincere or not- it gives him/her happiness to see people coming to visit and convey their sympathy, love and care. Thanks for your response and have a good day
