..And blankets?
I ask because I am in the process of doing my sheets and light blankets right now and I have to say...It's been about 3 weeks since I've last washed them. I don't know if that's gross or normal. I only have 2 sets of sheets and it's not like they look really dirty or anything... But I am constantly forgetting to wash them.
I'm excited for them to smell like my fabric softener, though. .
Anyway, I hope I didn't gross you out - LOL - but how often do YOU wash your sheets?
What is a "normal" amount of time to go without washing them?

Hi and a happy day to all!
I think the best thing that will make you decide when to wash or not is the smell of it. If your the only one who uses it and you dont sweat a lot during evenings, then you can just wash it every after 2 weeks. I wash my sheets and blankets when i know they needed it because i smell them. My husband is always sweating every night, that i have to put extra towel on the pillows just to help absorbed the sweat. So i wash it every week for maintaining a good smell and to prevent bacteria that will harm my hubby and me as well.
Enjoy your day.

i never really count days, but i think it is until it smells or something is put on it accidentally. well, to my estimate, it can be like two weeks or so. we have an extra sheet on stand-by when we wash the other. that means we only have two sheets. so far, it works and like you, i love lying down on newly-washed sheet. it smells and feels cozy.

I normally wash mine about every 3 months or so. Really the only people that sleep on them are me and my husband so if they get a bit dirty it doesn't bother me. I don't think there is a set amount of time that you have to go before washing your sheets. I do how ever every 6 months to a year get new pillows because of my allergies and that helps keep allergic reactions down.

Even if wanted to, i cannot them on for more than 10 days for my kid often make it dirty somehow and even if there is a little dirt, we dont feel like sleeping on them, so once in a week or maximum once in two weeks, i will wash them...it is cleaner and healthier to wash them at least twice in a month, that is what i feel because even in a completely washed bedsheets, there would be bedbugs.

It depends. We have a hot climate here and so washing our sheets will be once a week. If it's rainy season, I wash the sheets once in 2-3 weeks.

Mine and my husbands sheets every 3-4 weeks. My childrens sheets are a different story because they do things like going on the bed with shoes on and such, yuck! So theirs I always washed every 2 weeks...
I don't think its nasty at all. Its about the same as most people. =)

Not gross at all coz before I have them wash after a month only. So basically it is a monthly thing for me It depends on the way we use them. I don't think I can make them so dirty until one month so I have to wash them after a month only.
But when I met my new roommates who changed their sheets, blankets and pillow cases every week. I have to do the same thing too I feel I am so gross when they are changing theirs every week and I will change mine monthly.

I don't really count the days before I wash my sheets but it is approximately every 2 weeks or so or even earlier if they get dirty before the 2 weeks. I guess it depends and varies for different people. I tend to wash them at least twice or three times per month to disease allergic reactions
