I have been on an air plane before. I am nervous about flying on one. I haven't been on one in years. I think of how high up it is. I have a fear of heights. I hope I am not the only one that is nervous about flying on an air plane. I think scard is a better word to use.

I don't have any experience about flying but I think I'm not going to be nervous/scared coz flying in an airplane or helicopter because it is one of my dream and I'm not afraid of Heights I think I will enjoy it.. I tested it already, I went to the rooftop of School building the tallest in the school. And their I'm finally sure that I'm not afraid of Heights. I'm with my 2 classmates they are both boys and Honestly I laughed them because they have fear in heights. . hehhehhe.. Maybe because I'm not afraid to die?? That whatever will happen to me w/o intention I'm ready! That already surrendered my life to the Most High! :)

I think helecopters are scarier than a plane, because you can see right out there.I rather travel by plane I think because you get there quick.I don't travel often at all.Thats good you're not afraid of heights.

I do not! I love to fly, even when there is turbulence! But I know people who suffer greatly when traveling by air.I do not understand why?! I love very much flying on a air plane! I love to contemplate things from the heights and the feeling of flying!

I don't travel much. But I think flying is the quickest way to get anywhere.Alot better than ground travel.I usually don't look out the window when we go up. I probably could get used to it ,if I traveled more often.

In order to get to long haul destinations I have to be able to fly on a plane. In 2009 I flew London to Cape Town return. In 2010 I flew from London to Vancouver return. Then in 2011 I flew from London to the Caribbean coastline of Colombia. Soon I will be flying off to Argentina and Chile. I am not scared to fly and hope never to be on a plane that crashes.

Yes a plane is scary, not good. Thanks for your response, I to get car sick when riding far. I used to when I was little not sure about now though because I don't really travel either.

I love flying and I love the chance to travel. I am scared of heights but in a plane I feel secure and safe. One thing would be terrorism, let's face it there are a lot of bad people out there these days. Don't be scared, try and fly a little more and your fear will slowly disappear.

I think of all the terrerism now a days. Then it's better to fly so you get to your destination quick.Ground travel takes too long.

Dear friend, I am in my life, until today I flew only in 2 trips. One of them was even intercontinental (From Europe to the Dominican Republic). I must say that I don't share your same fear of flying. I do not care nor height, nor are all those unpleasant sensations that usually are tested in flight. I think that many times in my future when I get the chance, I'll travel by plane. Certainly it is not to be underestimated in that means of transport, there is no risk zero. But that does not bother me too much!

I don't fly that often, maybe I could get used to it if I did.At least it's quick to get somewhere by plane. By car or ground means take too long.

I am not scared, but I am a bit nervous. I haven't flown very often so I don't spend a lot of time thinking about it. we are planning a few trips in the future htat will require flying but I'm not too worried about it.

I am not so nervous to take the plane. Although I don't often take the plane. I will take the plane when we have a travel. I just don't like sometimes the bad feeling of my ears. This is why I often chew something or speak in the plane so that I can feel better. I love China

I have never flown before and I think that if given the opportunity I would be very nervous about it. Being that far up in the air would leave one feeling powerless. I would like to fly at least once in my life though. Several people do it often. My son is going into the Air Force in July and his training will be done in Texas. I am thinking about flying out there to watch him graduate. It makes me nervous to think about it but I will do it if I can. Good luck.

So, you're saying you haven't ride an airplane before? Cause your post seems confusing here. Well, if so, I am like you. I haven't been to a flying airplane before. Haven't been to long distance traveling like out of the country. But if you have to fly by airplane, just pray and enjoy the flight. Not all people can have that opportunity. Tell us what it feels like if you have experienced it already. First times can be really amazing!

Very ironic with me, I am very much afraid of heights but I love riding on an air plane. I so love its comfort,in fact I love sitting near the window. what I just hate about flying is when I have flu, the pain in my ears is just unbearable.

From a very young age, I have flown at least twice (over and back) per year, every year, but I find the older I got, the more nervous I got. I'm now absolutely terrified of flying, whereas when I was younger, it didn't bother me at all. I don't let it stop me, I force myself to go, but I do spend the entire flight as a nervous wreck. I think when you get older, you develop more of a sense of self-preservation and start to worry more about the physics of the giant metal tube hurtling through the air at God knows what speed...
