Marvel vs. D.C.

I was looking for a comic section but Manga was the closest I could find to the subject I was posting. I know D.C. and Marvel have collabed before, but I would love to see a complete series based on these scenarios. Why would you want to see Professor Xavier against Green Lantern. That match up would seem to go to Xavier just because of the whole mind control power.

I don't believe the outcome between Green Lantern and Xavier is that obvious, because one is practically imobile, the other very mobile and they both use, in different ways the power of their minds. One to materialize things, the other to control them. In the end, it's a question of will and skill to know what to use and when to use it. It reminds me of the old idea of matches between wizards, in which every wizard had to transform into different animals to try and beat the other. (so if one was a snake, the other turned into a hedgehog and try to defeat him; the first then transformed into lets say a lion, then the other would become a tiger and so on) What I'm trying to say is that both Green Lantern and Xavier channel mind power, will and imagination. And it would be interesting to see the outcome. Although, since they're both good guys, it would be a shame in a way to make them fight each other :)

It would be interesting to see how the odds would work in a matchup like this. Another matchup i was thinking about was Superman vs. Magneto. The odds seem in favor of Superman, but if Magneto was given Kryptonite as a weapon I wonder how that battle would pan out.
