I don't understand some of my friends feel that they are already weak and unwilling to do anything that they used to do when they were younger. Now they are still in their fifties. At the age of 50 or 60, they are still young and can do virtually everything. They said, "Bro, we are getting old now. Leave it to the young people." I hate this statement. They are just like soldiers losing wars before they start the war! I told them, "You lazy and weak gyus! C'mon get your .... off over there and get things done pronto."

Hi there! :)
Yes, living to 1000 years old would be quite something. But with all these cancers taking away lives everyday, i think the max age that we will live to is 40 or 50. If you are over that age you are lucky. Do you mean just you or everyone would live to 1000 years old? If it's just you then that would be so sad, you would see all of your loved ones go, The cool thing about that though is you will see the generations coming... that you started!! That would be awesome! :D
I don't think I really answered your question :P

40 or 50?? Are you for real? I am almost 56 and I haven't been sick in years and years. I know tons of people much older than me who still have lots of time. I think you'd be more accurate in saying 70 to 80 but even then, I work with a woman who is almost 90 that still goes out dancing, has a boyfriend and never misses work. I'm guessing you are really young if you think 40 or 50 is the average life expectancy. Sorry to laugh...this just struck me as funny.

I think this attitude of resignation which many people express when they reach a certain age can be fought against with some help from psychologists. It is obvious that people are still capable of doing many things when they are in their fifties and sixties if they think positively and have a strong mind, and if there is someone who can encourage them to remain active and enjoy life, they will respond in a positive manner and won't abandon their lust for life.

Maybe we can not live exactly like the Hunza since our diet is no more natural and organic but at least with positive attitude towards life, we will live better lives. It is the negative attitude they have that should be abondoned. Thank for responding. Happy mylotting.

A lot of people have fantasies about living for a long time, and I have to say that I am one of these people. However, I would not want to live for that long unless I was physically able to do everything that I would want to. I wouldn't want to spend a large number of years in a nursing home unable to look after myself, for example. I would love to be able to live to see several generations of my family grow up and have children of their own, as I feel that this is the most rewarding thing about the life of a human being.

Yea, you are right, what's the use of living that long if we can not do anything or become someone's burden. What I am trying to say is that as human being, we have to face this life as if we would live for 1,000 years. Be optimistic about the future. I notice some people aged 50 above, feel reluctant to change. They feel they are too old to change to a better condition either physically or mentally. I hate to see those weak people.

if i only i could choose how long i can live, i would say 70-80 wud enough.
Our age and our bodyu age are different. someone can be 32 but after simple examination by doctor, maybe the age of his body is 70++.. this is because they are not taking care of their body..
and there are also cases where someone at age 70 has a body that still function like 30.
im sure you are fit and healthy Yanza! I know you like to work out which is very good for body and health, thanks to your advise too im feeling so much healthier and less stress after i start going for jogging.

Me too. I never think of getting old, although no one can get out of getting old. If we never think of getting old we will remain or feel your forever.

Bible said human being will live no more than 150, i know its a hundred. Not like matusalem or anyone who live for lots of years. Nowadays people get weaker because of chemicals used in food. Processed foods are not real good but we still buy them. World is so busy that we need to cope with it. As long as God will give me oxygen to breathe, ill be happy.

You are right. We are now living in an endangered atmosphere. All food is chemical-destroyed. We can not get out of it. The poison and dangerous chemical substance remain in the bodily system. But this dangerous substance can actually be removed by water fasting.

Yanza, if i can choose, i would want to live up to a hundred years old like some of my far away relatives. They lived in village area, free from the stress of city life. I think as long we can take good care of our food intake, i am sure our health able to stay healthy and fine. I like to live a long life since there are still lots of dreams haven't been fulfilled yet. I am looking to fulfill them one by one until i am satisfied. Hope everyone of us have a lots of dreams to be fulfill.

While I want to live my life to the fullest and maybe as long as God will allow me, I don't want to live forever, or at least a thousand years. Unless of course everyone gets to live that long too. If it's just me while others get the "normal" lifespan, I think I will be very sad eventually coz I'll be seeing my loved ones die one by one while I myself continue to live. I don't think I will be happy living forever if the people I love are no longer with me.

There are people who are really in denial of their ages. Of course I think it is because they have regrets from the past that they weren't able to enjoy.

Yes, never admit that we are old. Age is nothing but numbers and we should not let it bother us. It's especially the case for man. To a woman, age matters to us because we have to mind our looks and all, we like to be complimented for all the good things. When man is concerned, they looked better as they aged. WHat's important is having a young heart, keep an open mind to stuff and trends. Nobody is ever too old for anything, it's courage that's holding them back.

As time passes a lot of changes come, not only in age and physical appearances but in the the philosophical and aesthetic view towards life. Throughout human history many able persons, dreamed for infinite life, felt some kind of vanity in such dreams. So generally we can consider such thoughts occurring getting on age as a human nature.

just wish for it, people who misses something in their life way back before is really their mistake and now their conscience is accusing them, just accept the flow of life, that's the way it is ^^

You could also say you're refusing to accept you're old and should actually start acting your age.
Now, of course I don't know you nor what you were trying to do, of course people should always try to do things they used to and not wallow in self pity because of their age.
