Got the Watch

As I've posted before, I have applied with Convergys to get the advertised Timex watch given to applicants who will pass the final interview. I did just that and I've got the watch. It's not that good because it has the Convergys logo aside from Timex. But that's OK because I got for free and I don't even accept the job offer. LOL!

Where Convergys did you apply? Because my boyfriend is now working there but he wasn't aware of that Timex thing. Why didn't you accept the job offer in the first place?

I applied in their Eastwood, Libis Branch. You have to be referred by someone for you to be eligible for the watch and some chocolates too. They are really generous to their applicants, I hope they are too with their employees. I used to work for them and the only thing I've got aside from my usual salary is a dress down pass (which means I can wear a casual clothing)

Congratulations! You applied for the job just because of the watch? That's something! Why didn't you accept the job?
I remember my friend who signed up for a credit card just to get a Timex watch for free. But she did end up using the credit card. Although I think, she's considering to stop using it.

Yeah, pretty much. LOL! I actually came from that company before and they didn't even know. So, even if I wanted to accept the job, I am no longer eligible. But still, they said that they will give the watch to any applicant who will pass the interviews, and I did pass them so I am definitely eligible. :)

That was devious. Before, they were offering donuts, right? I remember applying there and I saw the poster. That's actually bad for their reputation. It makes them seem desperate for agents, and would give anything for an employee. Although, I heard it was strict there, especially when it comes to the dress code.

Exactly. I know for sure that they are really desperate for agents because the answers that I have given during the course of the interview sessions are not the best interview answers there is and yet, I have passed all of them. I also know that their attrition rates are on the highest scale these days. Poor Convergys.
