I need to do an early morning walk

I was thinking that I need to start walking more often, just a few minutes a day, maybe twice a day. This will help me clear my mind, keep myself goal oriented as well as help me lose weight. I just haven't been doing this. Though I think if I do it as soon as I wake up, just change my clothes and take a twenty minute walk I can clear my mind and then come back in, change, shower, or go back to bed depending on what needs to be done. Anyone else need to do something like this but can't get motivated? Truth is I don't WANT to walk around here... But if I do it will make me see where I don't want to be and what I need to do to make it be where I want it to be.

There are places here that offer exercise equipment for a good price as it's a pawn type shop. Maybe you could find a stationary bike. I should go down and see if I can't find one of those myself. It'd be a nice little thing to do while watching t.v.

That is actually one of the things I have started doing. I run/walk about 30 minutes every night in my backyard. I would like to move to other places to walk because well, my backyard is not the most exciting place. LOL I am on track to lose weight and this is something I am serious about now. I have tried a few times in the past, but more serious this time. I hope I can lose some weight doing this and eating right. Already lost a few pounds so that is good! Just think about how much good it will do for you and maybe have a goal in mind of how far you want to go so you know what the plan is when you are ready to start walking.

I had already had a plan as to how far, and this morning I walked. I didn't go as far as I had planned but I still walked an okay distance. Doing it in your back yard isn't a bad idea, it's all about being comfortable with where you are walking or running. So what brings you to the 'lot more?

Oh, I thought you'd said you had a privacy fence before. Soon I will be jealous of you again as before we know it it will be nice enough for pool weather. I have come back on mylot to help me earn for a car, yes you heard me right. I just hadn't started a discussion about it as I change my mind so much it's an embarrassment. Now though I haven't changed my mind.

That's good that you had a plan, I think even if you do not go as far as you planned just knowing that you want to go and where you want to go will make it easier to get out the door. Yeah, I enjoy doing it in my back yard most of the time, also I like the aspect of being in a little more private setting since we have a privacy fence. I have still been doing someone online earning stuff lately so I just saw some discussions I wanted to respond to in my emails so I though why not. lol I usually try to respond to yours at least when I go through my email.

I have a book called Walking for Dummies. Meditation is good too. Walking is an excellent exercise. I do need to walk. Can't even do that much without getting winded. I am that out of shape! Eating non-processed food too will help you lose.

I see my sister and how skinny she is. I don't want to be nearly that skinny, but I do want to be skinnier. I am trying to cut out sodas, and do pretty good with it, I just need to buy more juices or a juicer to make my own. I walked about 1.2 miles the other day without getting winded or hardly breaking a sweat, and then walked around walmart. I was proud of myself, I know I am in better shape but could be in even better shape. I sometimes have to take the buggies inside at work and can do that pretty quickly if the traffic is light.

You should be proud of yourself! Walking is fun if you have a scenic city. We live in a capital city with lots of parks and a river runs through it. Literally. I would set up goals and walk to one goal and then set another for the next week. Did you happen to catch the Four Body Types I cut and pasted to a discussion? Good info.

I do that in my own garden. I have a paved area around my house and also paths in the garden. I prefer this to going out as roads could be quite risky. Also sometimes there are stray dogs. I am walking enough in the whole day as I am in and out several times.

Out of my busy schedule,i planned number of times to start walking and jogging in the morning but when the time comes to do,i fortunately or unfortunetely missed always coz my laziness never let me to wake up early in the morning. whenever i gets late to do my day task,i use to leave the most non-preferable task and it almost would be my exercise(walking and jogging). But now i am trying to being motivated myself to do all this.

Have you been able to walk regularly like you wanted too? I too am hoping to improve my exercise routine. With the weather being nice I have walking a few times a week in the mornings with my daughter. It is something we both enjoy. It's nice for us to get out of the house. When we are out of the house I don't focus on work and I can just relax and do things with my daughter.

You are very right about that. Even just a little bit of walking helps in the long run.

I am thinking that I need to get up early and write first thing in the morning. A walk would do me good too, I am sure. I would love to be an early bird again. I could even just get up early and try to clean up the yard or house. It would sure help my attitude.

It is good to walk to clear your mind. I wish I liked the area I live in so I can walk. I am not familiar enough with the area and it frightens me. I used to live in the country and it was safe to walk around now I live in a bigger city and get scared easily. I hate living in the city, but since Randy had lost his job late last year and earlier this year he developed a serious foot condition I was forced to live with my parents which has been hard on me. My mother thinks she can boss me around and all we do is fight. I think that I am going to start walking around so I can clear my head and vent out my frustrations.

I think walking really helps in loosing in weight. Though its for just 30 - 1 hour some of your fats will be melted. I also do this back then. walking. but because of busy things, i can't do it anymore.
