I hope that you enjoy your girls get together. there is such joy and happy ansious feelings that come with looking forward to an event in life. I am also looking forward to something that can be happening any day now. My son's girlfriend is going to have a baby. she is in the early signs of labor so now we play the waiting game to bring a new life into the world. It will be a blessing for our family.

Congratulations to you on your new grandbaby! There is joy and anxiousness in waiting for an event to occur. Especially an event such as the one you are waiting for!
Again Congratulations and may the baby be healthy and the mother's labor be gentle!

Yes, I am. Not a good giddy. My granddaughter has to leave here in the next two days. She and I have had some real problems and it will be such a relief to have her gone. I think it is pretty bad when your landlord won't allow your granddaughter to stay at your place. There are alot of reasons for this and well founded but still i think it says alot about her. I would feel bad but doesn't seem to fase her at all.

It sounds to me that she wants to get out of there as well and maybe her leaving will help humble her and make her realize the way she treated you. I am sure it will be hard to part, even with the way she has been acting lately.

You are helping her.
I know that I don't get along with some people in my family, I have to live here for now but I separate myself from them so that I can be more respectful, if that makes sense.

Saturday, we're having a combination St. Pat's and spring pot luck. Then we have drumming afterward. This should be fun.

Well have fun either way. Let's just hope everyone doesn't bring a potato dish!

It sounds like it will be fun. Will Irish dishes be served? Or food dyed food? Food coloring dyed that is, that'd be neat. Have fun!

I'm so happy for you.I'm hoping to get together with my friend this sunday for dinner. She will be having a baby in less than two weeks. So I want to see and spend time with her before her baby gets here.

Well have fun and be safe! I am happy for your friend and Congratulations. Yes getting together before her baby comes is a good idea as she'll be busy the first few months for sure.
It is always fun to catch up.

I agree with you it is such a wonderful thing to catch up. Now that her baby boy is here he is definitely keeping her busy. I'm so happy for her and her family. It will be nice that our kids will be able to play together as they grow.

I too hope that you enjoy your much awaited and anticipated girls get together. Even I sometimes feel really good about such days. I love girls days out. I am happy hanging out only with girls. Going out, shopping together, cooking special items for ourselves, giving ourselves those pampering medicures, pedicures, sometimes if our budget permits, we will head out to a SPA and give ourselves that care that we enjoy. Then, dance and sing all the time till we are tired and go sleep!
Girls get together is something always good! I enjoy everytime we go out for it!

Our girls nights are a little different. We usually play games, drink a little, and eat. That's about it. We do a lot but a little all at once. We all have a little bit of a different personality but none of us are all that "girly".
None of us could fit a mani, pedi or spa day in our budget either :(.

Other than a new grandbaby, no I am not looking forward to much. I need money and I need to find out how to get money but still keep a flexible schedule. I am glad you get to get together with your friends. I guess I would add that a friend and I are going to start walking together. We have not had much time to get together, but she is the kind that is there for you when you need it.

Well Congratulations, I do believe I've already expressed that before but again congrats. I think we all need money and it's a struggle to get it sometimes. If my friends and I lived closer we would be walking together as well but as it is we live 30 minutes apart, if not a little more.
My "sisters" are the same, we may not be able to spend much time together but if anything is wrong, day or night they'll be there.

We're going out this Saturday too. I and my daughter have been staying home for weeks and we both need some air. Have fun with your get together with friends I know you deserve to enjoy the event. I bet it's been a long time since you haven't seen your friends.

I hope you enjoy your night out and stay safe! Yes it's been awhile and I simply can't wait! We will have so much fun together, and most likely will say what we always do which is "we don't need to wait so long before we get together again." We usually only end up getting together three times a year, on our birthdays.

Two things: First I'm preparing for that big move that my family will do next month. We're moving to another country and just the thought of it makes me feel a lot of things - happy and excited because this is new beginning, apprehensive not knowing what lies ahead, and sad because I'll be leaving so many things behind - friends, career, other family members, good memories. Second, prior to leaving this country, I have scheduled a visit to my hometown this coming Holy Week (a big religious event in my country) on the first month of April, a few days before my departure. I'll be seeing my grade school and high school friends, one high school sweetheart whom I haven't seen for a good 20 years. This one I really feel giddy about. My hubby knows and he even teases me about it, he actually doesn't mind

Well I can understand your excitement yet your apprehension. I don't think I could move out of the country, I'd be leaving behind so much I love. I've had separation anxiety disorders before, and though I don't anymore they may flare back up if I was to move. It sounds like you have a lot planned when it comes to things to do before you leave the country. I am hoping that you enjoy your visit back to your hometown, and getting together with old flames and old friends.
It's always nice to catch up. Are you moving very far away? I know it will be another country obviously, but I was just wondering if it was one country over, or a few.
Anyway have a safe trip(s).
