Isn't it great to have someone appreciate and like the food you made for them? especially when they said it to you that they like it...

I love cooking too. And yes it feels good when someone appreciates your cooking. It makes us want to cook more. I think one of the best compliments a woman could receive is that she's good in cooking. It is heartwarming.

Yes, that's true, it so nice to cook, when at least a word of appreciation is being said about what you have just cooked. But when they just keep on eating , without any word of Yes! or wow! , i feel like walking out and never to cook again, ever!

I know the feeling that my cooking has been appreciated and gained some positive feedback. It helps encourage me to improve my skill more as an aspiring cook in the family. It's a good feeling watching people gobble up the dish that I have cooked for them and there would be no leftover for the next day.

I agree lovezming. I love cooking too, and getting compliments and appreciation after doing all my best to serve a great meal is the consolation I get. On the other hand, it's so disappointing and upsetting when there are people who do not appreciate or do not seem to be grateful after all the efforts. I love cooking and I love food. I love cooking for my family and friends.

I love to cook too, in fact that was my way of living before. I worked in a ship before that have routes worldwide. And as cook,I cater around 20 individuals each having different taste preference with regards to food. So it's really inspiring if someone would appreciate our cooking and likes the food we have served to them.

yes that is a very wonderful compliment. when they like what you cook. And when they actually don't finish the food or not touch it, it is likewise the worst kind of hurt as well. hahahaha... i had my share of both experience! ^_^

I love to cook too, and I think it's more worthwhile when you cook for your loved ones and they really enjoy your cooking. I also like to try out new recipies but my husband doesn't always enjoy something new.
