Can love last with a high school sweetheat

Any one with there HS sweetheart years after first knowing them. Have you been together for years or did you get back together? I've seen where people have gotten together young and made it last but they are all elderly couples. In this day and age is it possible?

It possible, not very likely but possible. I'm in love with a girl I met in kindergarten and we've been together like 5 times since the 8th grade. We hope now we'll stay together.

Yes I have seen some high school lovers who ended up to be married and have a good family afterwards. They both were my classmates in high school and when we graduated they separated and studied in different universities. After four years in college they kept in touch for a longer time and after a few years they got married. They were not on their middle ages yet they are still young adults when they got married. I think the exact formula for this kind of relationship is trust, honesty and understanding to one another. Without these simple components, I think jealousy will set in and mistrust will break that relationship forever. I think destiny also plays an important rule in it, regardless of not being together for so long and yet they came together again and relive the relationship they started before and ended in to a happy family life, I think that is destiny for me.
