My hubby's birthday today, so sad he's not around. . .

today is my loving husband's 36th birthday, but he is away for work. we can't be together but i make sure he received my first greeting text message for the day. it is sad that we can't be together, it is sad that on special occasions like this , distance between us is too wide that we cannot share the same slice of cake. but this is life. we need to sacrifice because we are building our dreams for the family. i am getting excited everyday because the day of his return is nearer. maybe next week, he will be home, and how i love to think to embrace him once again. he's 10 months away from us, working overseas, and having him near is such a blessing we always look forward.we will be celebrating his birthday when he comes home and we are both excited

oh, he's working as a seaman, and their route is across Europe and Asia, his contract is 10 long months. wife or family is not allowed to be with them during their travel, not unless i'll travel myself to Japan if they are there so we could see each other, and that's bit expensive. so what we usually do is to wait for his contract to end, so we could be with each other. the nature of his work is a little bit sad, but i am glad that every time he's here with us for vacation, he would always make sure that we spend quality time together. he give all his best to pay for the time lost. we travel a lot, we cuddle a lot, and embrace a lot. i thank God that every moment with him is superb and majestic.
