I think that is is essential to give teenagers the facts of life, pregnancy and birth control. They should be told that no form of birth control is 100% effective. They should know at that age they are highly fertile. The teenage boyfriend can persuade his girlfriend to sleep with him. Some lads are worse than others in that way. The teenagers parents are usually not to blame. The school, the lad and the girl should all have some responsibility. It is a shock for a girl to get pregnant at age 15 years old. I think abortion is wrong. Well done if the girl keeps her baby and is a great mom or she adopts her baby into a loving home. It is a shame that the girl that you know got pregnant at age 15 years old and her boyfriend doesn't give her much attention. He sounds just as young and totally irresponsible. Good luck to the lady now aged 19 or 20 and her child.

I know this is a controversial topic. I think that it is the teens to blame. They know what they are doing and there are very few who don't know or realize the consequences when they make the decision to do the deed. The dad should take responsibility. It takes two to make a baby.
