I am afraid it's got something to do with wire inside the monitor. Have you got it checked?

I guess there was nothing wrong with the monitor. If it is brand new just bring it back to where you bought it, bro. It's still in guarantee period, isn't it?

Return the machine to the place you bought it. It is most likely to be a hardware fault and the machine should be under guarantee.

You should first contact the company who sold it to you. They are the people who are legally responsible in the first instance because they are the ones who actually took your money. Toshiba may or may not have a service agreement with them and they may, in fact, ask you to send the machine back to Toshiba direct but, under the laws of most countries, it is the retailer, not the manufacturer, who is responsible for replacing or repairing faulty equipment.

You didn't say which OS. I am assuming Win7 since it is brand new. If you used their back-up utility and made a bootable disk as recommended, you might be able to restore.
If not... oops! The Blue Screen Of Death is exactly that. Like already iterated, contact Toshiba.

Try booting in safe mode... u can do that by pressing f10 or f8 just when the bios screen ends... and you will get a screen with many options, choose safe mode nd then remove any newly installed softwares or drivers...
Or else boot from a win7 dvd ( or whatever your OS is,, m assuming its windows) then you will get options to check startup errors and restore system,, try those...
And if you dont want any tension call any of your geek friend or pay any geek to do it for you or call TOSHIBA Customer care...
I hope one of the alternatives will work for you.. Blue screen is not a thing to worry too much generally... It happens due to some driver hardware incompatibilities!!

Well, after a BSOD and system has no POST... It would be better if you could call the OEM and since it is a brand new laptop I am sure they could provide you with the basic troubleshooting but if you would ask me about it what I would recommend is to call the store and have it replaced. :D

blu screen from windows os i think so yes there is a problem and so the system was blocked...normally on the blue screen you can read the motivation of the block to fix it you can switch to the safefe mode on windows(f8 when the computer made the bootstrap)and fix the problem if you aren't able to fix you must bring your pc to the support..

If you had already tried running in safe mode then restart after that system repair, then nothing happens. The only choice you have is formatting your computer, cause your system cant run normally anymore, something wrong with your software maybe caused by virus or system file is lost. Just format it I'm sure it will work.

First thing I would do is contact the place where you bought it. I've heard of people who brought their brand new computer home, took it out of the box and it never worked from the beginning. Sometimes the manufacturing processes go wrong. You should be able to get yours replaced with a brand new one as it should be under warranty. I would NOT recommend trying to mess around with it by fixing it yourself because then the place where you bought it from might not be so willing to replace it.
