Is traveling enjoyable?

Visiting beautiful places and scenery, breathing the fresh air, enjoying nightlife in other places and sleeping while traveling are interesting. I want someday. But, it seems a difficult thing to do. Many people recognize that is their hobby and do it regularly. But not for me. So many thing I should prepare before traveling. Because I can't sleep without my own pillow and bolster. I don't care how soft the pillow and the bolster. I just need my own thought it's so bad. When I forced myself to go and tried to enjoy. I didn't get my satisfaction will be back with pale face and sleepy. That's why I must think million times to go traveling.

I would like to travel if i have many money. I mean i can spend my money in everything i want to do. but as of now I cannot afford it. Well if I can afford it, I want to go travelling at least 3 days only in one month. It would be tiring if you go out for a week. even if the place is cozy, still you would find yourself wanting to go and lay to your own bed.

Yes you can enjoy travelling if you are physically, mentally, emotionally and financially prepared. Knowing about where you are going is essential to the whole trip, knowing facts about the place is a plus. Having all the essentials of travel like personal effects, documents, extra money, and presence of mind will help you enjoy. If you will have the opportunity to look outside your window, in a bus, train or plane, take in much of the scenery as you would like. It will be your memory of that journey. If you have company and you feel you don't vibe with them, don't let it ruin your vacay. Just nod your head to agree and shake your head to disagree. Just smile politely and if you do not feel comfortable with the topic, just zip your mouth or do not elaborate. Distract your buddies so that their attention will go back to the travel and not on you. Just be safe and alert while outdoors as you cannot predict nature nor the people around you. On the way home, you should retire to your seat or bed and ponder on the things you learned, liked and those things you would like to share with friends.

I find traveling very enjoyable, exciting sometimes, relaxing often and essential for me to be happy in life. Traveling to different countries is my top hobby. At least once a year I like to visit one or more foreign countries. I have just come back home from visiting Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Uruguay. I like to see palm fringed beaches, attractive looking architecture, wildlife and beautiful views. I am so delighted when I am off exploring other lands. Last year I visited Colombia and also the Yorkshire Coast. My kids loved the week in that seaside town going out for days. If I have enough money a week in my home country too is great to do.

I know that other people feel the same way as you and find it hard to sleep without their own pillow. Some of them bring their own pillow when they travel. Maybe you could do that as as well. Of course it depends how you are travelling. If you are travelling by car it is not hard to bring your pillow and your bolster, but if you are flying there are luggage restrictions, so it might not be a realistic option if you are travelling by plane. Personally I have slept in many different hotelrooms and I don't miss my own pillow. I can sleep almost anywhere, and I find travelling really enjoyable. I think it is very interesting to visit new places, and I am very happy when I fget the chance to travel. I am saving up for a trip to Asia at the moment and I am really excited about the places that I am going to visit.

Hello annmelati. Yes, I find travelling very enjoyable. I understand why it's difficult for you. I know that you would have to sacrifice your sleep and your money when you travel, but to me, it's worth all the trouble. You get to meet new people. I'm quiet but it's much easier to find something to talk about when you travel. You get to learn new things, new culture, and you get to taste different foods. Studies have shown that material things don't make people happy, or rather, they can only give people temporary happiness. But what can give people happiness that would last a long time is their life experiences, such as their trip to a different country. I would always find myself reminiscing about my travels. Try your best to see the world while you're still strong enough to walk.:) If it's really that difficult for you, maybe you can just visit places that aren't very far from your town. You can spend the whole day there and then go home at night.

If I could afford to travel then, yes it would be good and enjoyable. I love to travel and have travelled quite a lot when I was younger, but now I have kids it is a lot more expensive. I cannot really afford it.

Traveling would really be pleasurable especially if you are with someone you really love. I have tried traveling all by myself and it was fun and scary at the same time. Imagine you are going to take the plane without your family beside you. I was 19 years old then and It took me a lot of courage to do it. If given an opportunity, I would like to do it again but to a new and interesting place like Paris or Maldives. I hope God would allow me to travel if not this year, next year! :D

Travelling is enjoyable if you enjoy the company you're with and your ride is comfortable. I don't really care much about pillows as long as I have something to rest my head when I want to take a nap. I even enjoy the travel if i'm alone since I can enjoy the scenery without distraction. What I don't like is travelling with kids since I end up watching them than the scenery.

If you want to enjoy the scenery when you travel, you have to do it during daytime. ANd as much as possible, ride those air conditioned buses. That way, you get a full view of the scenery while your bus pass them by. Or you can have someone to go with you and bike around the countrysides. You can stop whenever you find a scene so beautiful and take some pictures.

Yes. I enjoy travelling. I used to work on a construction company and every time we had a new project, I was the one who would setup the computer systems on those projects. This allowed me to travel to almost every area in the Philippines, the only place I have yet to visit in the Philippines is Palawan. During deployment, we sometimes have to sleep in whatever was available. Most of this projects were in isolated areas and I always brought a travelling kit and a sleeping bag with me.

I haven't done much traveling when I started college. When I was younger, I visited places once every 5-6 months. Recently, I haven't been able to go anywhere except for home when Christmas comes around. I believe that traveling is enjoying. It takes things off your mind and allows your to relax. You don't have to travel out of the country to travel TRAVEL, but going someplace in your neighboring state could go a long way. I know that everytime I fly home or visit a friend in another city, I get in the mood of wanting to go back to my bed. I have this cloud over my head that makes me feels inconvineient. Sometimes I don't like traveling and sleeping on someone's couch or on their floor. I'm so used to sleeping in my bed and in my room that I feel unstable of where I'm temporarily sleeping for the night(s).

Traveling is fun, though it is an activity that is identical to spend money rather than make money. But believe me, sometimes it necessary to travel and it is very important to get rid of boredom from work and daily routines. In addition, more trips will also encourage us to understand the nature better.

Hi Ann. I had been to places and this is one thing that i realize... No matter how scenic the view is, if you dont enjoy the company of the people you're with, then it would be rendered useless. I travel with the same pack of people and i would admit that i do come home tired and sleepy. No matter how pooped i am from the trip, i still feel it was worth it because i enjoy being with my friends.

I haven't been able to travel very much. But I'm hoping that in the future I will be able to travel and see different places. I think that if I work hard to save my money instead of spending it, it can go along way in helping me to be able to travel when I would like to. Yeah it is important to be comfortable and have all the things we need when we go traveling.
