And my sister as well! I am trying to get into (better) shape before the summer comes around, and that has meant working out about 4-5 times per week, which is AMAZING for me, considering in the winter, I do not work out or get much exercise at all. I am trying though, and have been for the past couple of weeks. I have several of my friends motivated as well. Today I am going on a 3 mile walk with one of my friends, who is also trying to be healthy in an attempt to lose weight. Tomorrow I will work out with my sister at her apartment's fitness complex (free - yay!). Friday me and my friend L are going to go for a walk / jog. I am excited that I have others to keep me motivated. Do you have friends & family who are also interested in working out / exercising with you?

It is wonderful to know that all your friends, loved ones and those close to your heart are very supportive of your desire to be fit and strong. There are not many who have friends who are very encouraging. I envy you for having them. I have some few friends who are supportive but not to participate in what I do. Knowing they are there for you, I know you will reach a milestone that you will be happy about it. Have a great and wonderful day ahead. Keep up.

i do exercise because i want to lose more fat and i want to be fit. i have 2 elder sister, the second one is a 'bit obese and she also wants to lose weight. whenever i invite her to join me with my workout or jogging she always say that she will just follow after a minute but in the end she's just sitting and watching tv. my other sister can't join me because she's working. I've always wanted to have a companion.

Can I move to Minnesota and live near you so you can get me motivated to work out too?! I've been using this twisted knee that I have, that hasn't healed yet as an excuse not to exercise. I should get into where I was last year where I was already doing twice a week in the gym. That was a start.

I do not have many friends, in fact I would say virtually none. But beyond this speech, I must add that I do not even a job, but only a fool of disability allowance. Being recognized as invalid, I can not do efforts, so there put it on my health. So therefore I do not like walking, I prefer to use public transport. Certainly, If anyone needed help, do not refuse, but always within the limits of my ability.

I do try but it is hard to make lifestyle changes especailly when you don't have much support. I was working out some in the morning and then just kinda got out of the habit when something came up and I had more work than before. I am trying out Kenpo with my husband but he seems to have injured himself during this activity and I'm not sure if we can keep doing this activity together. Whenever I try it seems like a couple steps forwards and a couple steps back so nothing changes. I don't really have family and friends that are motivated and my husband would be willing to try something but seems to always be having medical issues or is tired and sore after his laborous job. I feel bad pushing him into something when he already had a hard day.

Dear friend, It just reminded me of my friends, when we used to go for jogging and gym together in the morning. But they all are been in different places, still we do have some group of friends every day having a jogging, I just have to make myself be in that, but mostly I am in bed. Hope to get to excericse tommoroww as usuall I think like that but hardly be succefull. It is really nice to get motivated during work outs...

I think that is great. I kind of wish I had someone to help to motivate me. Right now I am motivated by not wanting to have to take diabetes medicine any longer. I have about 10 pounds to go and the doctor says I should be able to get off all medication. I have already lost 27 pounds. The last 10 has been really hard though and of course they are the most important for my health. I enjoy working out a lot though. My mom loves to walk but we live 45 minutes away from each other but when ever we are together we usually take a walk.

Wow, I really envy you for getting started on a work-out routine. I would love to do that too but I keep on postponing it.
