Have you guys heard about a detergent powder being used to save electric consumption? My colleague told me that their electricity bill went down by at least 500 Philippine Pesos per month. The name of the powder being used was Real Detergent Powder and all you have to do is attach it to the cord of your appliances with the most power consumption so that it will absorb some of the electric current or something like that.
It seems weird and scientifically inaccurate but its worth giving a try. After all, I have nothing to lose. The detergent powder is just 50 pesos and once it didn't work, I can always use that to wash our clothes. But I still hope that it will work. Have you ever heard of this? This will be a lot of help for the ordinary consumers being robbed by the giant electric corporations like Meralco.

Wow, this sounds bizarre but helpful to lessen the electrical consumption, honestly I haven't seen or heard that detergent brand. Can you please explain it to me how to attached that detergent into the cord of the appliances? Do we have to attached it while the appliance is in used? I didn't get the picture.

OK, so you attached it in a cord and not in plug. I thought in a plug. It will be hard to find REAL detergent, can any other detergent powder will do? I will try it on out TV.

I don't know if it's coincident or not but our electric bill was down by 900 pesos this month after trying this detergent product so I will get more to see if it really is the cause of that. We have been using the same amount of electric consumption as we have last month but our bill was noticeably lower so this may be due to this product.

Hiya stuck.,
That would be a great thing if it really brings your electric Bill down something which is a headache for most people all over the world.
Seeing as our electric will go up yet again I would like to see something like that over here.
Never heard of to be honest at all but seeing as you are saying it works because I am reading your responses I have not much doubt that it does.
What puzzles me is how does the Detergent thing work exactly?
If you are paying less electric good for you gal that will let them know.
We have something like your Meralco here as well and they rob us blind too.
It does not matter how much effort we make for the bill to come down if anything it just seems to go up and up.
Well done anyway.xxx

Hmmmm… I have never heard about this, but it is worth if we all try this. This is the first time I have heard about detergent powder. I mean… for me, that is impossible, but I guess, there is no harm in trying. I am going to search on the internet about this product to see if it is true. Maybe there some people who testified about this product so I would also like to see it.

Hello, stuckonu! I haven't heard any yet, but there are so many inventions now that they claim can lower our electric consumption. I always see those salesmen in malls trying to get the attention of people to take a look and buy their products. There are also electric bulbs.

Well, there's no harm in trying as they say.
Maybe stuckonu, you could first try it for yourself and then get back to us after a month , to attest if it's indeed true. If it would indeed help in saving electric consumption, people will really buy that Real Detergent.

My impression is that it is a new gimmick. 50 pesos is just a small amount but they can earn a lot when many try their products. However, it is interesting I will try to find more about it.
