What is your favorite exercise or work-out routine?

What is your favorite exercise or work-out routine? i like to walk, but when im by myself to lose weight i like to just dance around the house as i do my chores..
i think dancing is a great exercise.. but i dont do it every day, so walking is my favorite exercise routine.. what about you ?

when it is just me and my kids at home and i am cleaning the house i like to listen to music and dance. it is so much fun when the kids dance and sing along with the radio also :)
i also do not walk everyday but when my family goes fishing/camping we walk trails and walk back and forth to diffrent spots. we have a good time but also do a lot of walking so its a good work out :)

i have always liked to fish when i was a kid my grandparetns would take us on vacation and we would rent boats and get the guides and we also have a lot of great memories with that.
i didnt get into camping until i met my husband who use to go camping a lot. i have bad allergies and i thought i wouldnt enjoy it but i do :D it is a way to get away from the outside world and enjoy the time with your family. when we go camping we have no cell signal so no interuptions :)
that is weird that you are now afraid of a boat. did you have a "tramatizing" incident with it may be fall out of a boat or being tipped out of one or being in one in the middle of a storm??

I like to walk, run, jog, swim,and go up and down steps for exercise. They're fairly easy, but they are great exercises and burn a good bit of calories. Occasionally, when I feel like it, I will go outside to walk/run/jog and I end up dancing in the yard... more like flopping around like a lunatic, but I feel the burn, so it seems to work.

lol that is so funny.. id like to see that lol.. that would be me i make a fool of myself when im dancing so unless im drunk (which i dont drink lol) but you wont catch me dancing at all.. i only dance by myself.. i do wish i was not like that as dancing could be alot of fun.. but i got teased as a kid and it stuck with me..
so now i have fun dancing by myself .. as you say it works..

I am different. Actually I don't really enjoy walking as it is a little boring for me. I like to ride the bike much more. Actually from this Monday to Wednesday it is our Qing Ming Festival. So we have three days off work and school. Therefore we went out to ride the bike yesterday and today. I feel so tired but I am happy:)

i love to walk, i even bought me a new bike had it a year or so and never did ride it and my friends little girl wanted a bike for chiristmas and they could not afford one so i gave her my new bike.. so now i dont have one, but i would rather walk anyday.. have fun with your festival and days off sounds like lots of fun..

I have so many favourites! I love high intensity workout dvds, lifting weights at the gym, the elliptical machine, the treadmill, the bike, and hot yoga classes. I also enjoy going for 30 - 60 minute walks. Using these exercises along with healthy eatin and portion control I have lost 60 pounds this year :)

wow 60 pounds lost congratulations there..very good job.. when i weighed this morning i had lost a pound so i was happy. cant wait to weigh again tomorrow as im sure i have lost more..lately i had picked up 5 extra pounds, eating candy at night it will do it to you.. so i did not get anymore candy, so i cant eat it if it's not here.. for supper tonight im eating a bag meal.. i found one i like with orange chicken , rice, carrots and broccoli and a few other vegetable such as red pepppers.. it is really tasty ..i usualy cant find things i like frozen.. so im glad i tryed this as i will buy it again ..and its big enough i can make two meals out of it and save money and calories.. i try to watch what i eat as well as do my exercise.. i have never done yoga but it sounds fun.. take care captainmorgan and keep up the good work..

hii..my exercise routine is regular gym activities,not for building up muscle bulk but there i do some stretching and strengthening exercise which keeps my body fit.

it is good that you are active.. i know alot of people who arent'nt i use to have a gym membership yearly pass.. but we let it go back for cost reasons i miss it alot but i hardly used there gym which was nice, i liked there pool and mainly there walking track i love walking on it.. espicallly nice when its hot outside and you cant walk outside like today i took my dog for a short walk and we were both way to hot when we got back.. i cranked the air up and finaly got cooled down and we did not even go far.. i wont walk my dog far as she is so fat.. i try to take it easy on her but today her tongue was hanging out and so was mine lol..
keep up the good work and stay active..

my 2 favorite exercise routine is taebo exercise with billy blanks and pilates with cassey ho and i love how they motivates and encourage me with what they say during the workout videos.

I have never heard of cassey ho.. but i do know billy blank taebo video's are great for exercise.. good choice.. sometimes i like to just walk in place in my living room or do sit ups or crunches for my stomach but i have not done that in awhile.. i get alot of exercise walking my dog and even doing household chores

Actually, I don't mind walking, if I have something to do while doing it, like picking up cans.
I try to get to my client's apartment complex and pick up cans for 15-30 minutes before going to work.
I have picked up quite a few. I figure any cans I pick up aren't going in the landfill, and last week I took those cans, and the vegetable/tomato juice cans we have drunk, and a few diet sodas, and sold them. 23 lbs for $11.50

wow, see i told my husband we should save cans and make money but he dotn want to said it causes ants.. we throw away a ton of cans.. makes me feel bad .. i guess it stems from growing up we use to pick cans up on the sid of the road walking and we always saved them from home.. but i guess my husbands family did not.. so he dont want to save them.. but im glad you have the ability to save and make extra money.. if we lived out by ourselves i would prob do it but we live in town and
there is really no place for me to put the cans anyhow.. so good luck anyhow thanks for commenting.

Dancing, Zumba to be exact is a lot of fun and really gives you a workout. I do like to walk but I have an aversion to walking around here, so Dancing is the next best thing.

i agree , i love dancing but dont do it very often, i try to walk every day, but dont always get to.. so i walk as much as i can.. my dog loves to go, but she takes to much time all tha sniffing of the ground lol cant get a good workout taking her lol..

The best thing for me is probably using the elliptical machine - although it is SO challenging! I try to do it at least once if not several times a week. I get such a good workout from that machine though. Dancing is probably a great way to burn calories, I can see it. Plus also maybe fun.
I like tennis and volleyball, although I rarely get a chance to do either. And I also enjoy walking, which doesn't really count as a "work out" per say, but it is for me (depending on how long it is!). .

sounds like we like alot of the same things, i love tennis as well but rarely get to play either and i love swimming and basket ball. but not the work out machines any of them lol.. i would rather get my exercise walking or walking in place.. but if you can do it that is good that it helps you.. keep up the good work.. and i'll keep walking i hope... take care

I like dance and listen music when I have free time too. I like dance when i listen music. I dance to relax myself after my work.

it's not really my favorite, i only started doing the leg vertical crunch last week. this may help lose my belly fats..(LOL)

i use to do those all the time.. and i did sit ups as well.. i think sit up will help with the belly fat..it did me.. or walking in place is great too.. but if you do a few sit ups a day and start out small even if you cant do it well (like me lol) if you do a few a day and start small you will get better and see a difference i may try that myself i am gonna put that on my list to do.. thanks for inspiring me to do so.. and thanks for commenting have a blessed day :)

Step ups, or walking. I also like walking up and down the stairs :) I don't actually lose weight when I do this (I only do light exercise), which is fine by me. But I have noticed that my muscles have become more defined in my calf and abdominal area. I've stopped recently, and my muscles are now gone xD
