In my family, we celebrate Easter by attending church together. What are some ways that you celebrate Easter? Have a blessed Easter. He is risen!

Normally, we spend the day at home with the kids and plan activities such as easter egg hunts or egg painting, baking cookies things of that nature to keep them happy and having fun. This year however we went out of town to celebrate my daughter's 5th B-Day at Disney World, which they loved and are hoping and asking me every night when we are going back LOL.

We also go to church and we also do the fasting, but honestly speaking, I do not want to do the fasting, because I do not want to die in hunger, ha ha ha Every day, I skip meal and sometimes I forgot to eat meal and so, when Easter came and mom told us to do the fasting, well, I feel very, very hungry. I want to eat food and I cannot do the fasting.

Easter in my hometown is celebrated by people going to the beach and just have fun drinking and all. The irony that Christ has risen and people can start sinning again.

Hello my friend, the same here in the Philippines, we celebrate Easter through attending church. After mass, we go back home and made preparations for a sort of an Easter breakfast celebrating this day. Happy Easter and God bless your family.

We always go to church, although with my health I really really try to make it to church on Easter. Before my mom's mind went, we would have a nice dinner afterwards.

i will work. then hopefully, hubby and the kids will meet me at the church. then, we might go out to dinner or get something to put on the grill. since the kids are almost out of the house, we don't have to worry about easter egg hunts. my daughter goes off to college, so we're trying to spend all our time together that can be spent. my niece's birthday is the day before, so the whole family will be together to celebrate.

I will not be doing anything for Easter this year. Last year my older brother invited the whole family to his my sister-in-law's place. Most of the family did come. The rest were at their inlaws. Anyway I was hoping my brother Greg would be doing this again this year. I found out the other day no. They are going off on a 3 day weekend with thier daughter! I am pretty sure the rest of the family will be at their inlaws! I could go see my dad but he is an @sshole so that will not happen! I will be doing my part-time that morning, though! I will be around alot of horses,3 dogs,3 goats and 2 cats! I won't be totally alone on Easter!

I don't officially celebrate Easter... But I know that we used to go to church many many years ago, and then we all kind of lost it in my family... Sometimes we get together and cook and eat and hang out but this year I think we are skipping it. Which is kind of too bad, as I enjoy seeing my family. Oh well! There's always next year! Happy Easter!

I used to go to church with my mom on Easter but I haven't been in years, it's not something I'm proud of. Usually my grandparents will make a big Easter dinner and the whole family will go over. This year I'm not sure what I'll doing. I'm scheduled to work all day but my boyfriend's mom invited me to go over since it's my boyfriend's last Easter before he leaves for the army. I still haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. I hope you have a nice Easter

Hi Mandalee, church is the normal way to celebrate Easter... I remember when I was younger and my grandsona were younger we always attended an Easter egg hunt some where even at church.
