What worked for you in losing weight?

So, what did you guys do to lose weight? Any tips or tricks? :) I'm currently happy with the weight range I am now (BMI of about 20) Sometimes I wish I could lose my slight stomach pudge, but eh). Basically I lost 10kg by at first starving myself (not a good method), then only eating before 5pm for like a few months. Now I just eat before 6:30pm and my weight has since then stabilized :3 although I am a bit pudgier now.

1) Drink 3-4 litres of water everyday
Bowel movements would be stabilised and fat accumulation can be avoided
2)A brisk walk for 30 minutes either in the morning or evening
Calories would be burnt
3)take less amount of junk food and oily items
Completely avoiding a food item is not necessary
4)take honey with cinnamon everyday
Boil 200 ml of water with a pinch of cinnamon powder
Add honey when the water is warm(not too hot)
have it before breakfast in empty stomach
Note: do not boil water with honey
I have tried the above mentioned tips and it worked for me!!!)

i never had excess weight so basically i have a fast metabolism. i have no problem maintaining average weight even i eat different food stuffs. my weight still average. though, i eat more if take vitamins. for me the best exercise which is not rigid or difficulty is to try to move and not to become a couch potato. usually i do walk a lot s the best type of exercise.

i took barley capsules (and now i sell them too), it helps keep me full so my food intake is lesser.
and i jog
and work out
back in august 2011 i was 183 lbs
now (april 2011) i'm an even 150
i'm around 5'9" so this weight is just enough for me

I do exercise daily. It can help me in my wait loss. It is of my advice to you that you also do some exercise in the early morning/ evening.

Dear xemorth, not eating is a bad method for loosing weight. The best way is jogging combined with a good diet and if you want to loose your stomach you should do abs exercises and I assure you that you are gonna loose that stomach. Not eating is very unhealthy and it's not burning your fats as much as it burns your muscles so I suggest you not to do that. Good luck

I wasn't overweighed, so I can't give any tips on losing weight. However, I had that heavy feeling while walking and doing other works. I don't do any work outs. When I started taking the Flax Oil, I felt little lighter. Or I can say I could move freely. I felt that.

hi there, yes i think you many right yes, its good to learn from other who really lost weight not just to listen to drs, i like the no fats foods and its great of course for some time not for long time, because as human we do need fats in food but not much and also we should not eat it daily because we like to lose weight but what works for some maybe not work for all, you need to try what suits you and you can tolerate it and go on with it so you do not lose fast as it is not good to low your weight fast and also you need to find the system and routine that suits you and your body needs as if you work of course you need special foods

You can start eating fruits like kiwi, apple or banana. They give you energy and helps to lose weight at the same time. Try eating banana or apple before meals because they will make you feel full so you will start eating lesser during meals. Tried it and it works but at a really slow pace.

Discipline is the key to everything to achieve your goal. In losing weight what i usually does is to do a routine stretching or aerobic exercise for about 2 hours that will really make me perspire heavily about 3 times a week. In combination of this is a discipline diet restriction, like eating just enough amount of food 3 times a day and do not i say do not over eat that will really make you very full. Even though you eat food rich in calories if you will only eat small amount of it just to make you satisfied, it will not gain you weight at all, because you will also burn your calories with your routine physical exercise.

best way to lose weight is to exercise at least 15-30 minutes 4 times a week. I am not overweight and i have flat stomach but my arms and thighs are big. I do crunches morning or night for at least 20 crunches.
