I'm from the Philippines. Getting a job here, even just a part time job is very difficult because of certain requirements set by the company and that people here are too many that the demand of jobs is greater than the employment rate.
If ever I will finish my education, I don't plan to work for other people. You could say that I'm freelancing or something but I'd rather use my head more than my body--frail as it is. I think, instead of getting myself some investment, I'd get myself some assets and invest wisely.
Have a nice day and Happy MyLotting!

very nice you from Philppines, i know that there will one job and greater will be apply for that one, but i mean was that their in your country it is on merit or on approach by some higher, many countries like our country too, here not on merit now but some approach will behind in that vacancies. and that is very sadness for young generation not to achieve their rights properly.

Do you mean the certain number of age/experience a worker has before being employed?
Well, the more experience a worker has on the field, he's more likely to be employed but that person needs to be within a certain age. It's like companies here are looking for people who are very young but has a lot of experiences already--which is very illogical.
Younger and older people here cannot be employed right away without having to have problems with their applying. Most jobs are filled by the person himself applying for a position in the company. It's only sometimes that companies call the schools, for people who are still taking education, and approach the students in person.

as my discussion about job doesn't mean that every age person can do, here job our in our country in Government is 25 and thirty years, in army required age is 16 years, in many companies here not proper age is required.

In the U.S....It's somewhat easy of course. You could get any job at a fast food joint with no experience or no education. The only trouble is getting the "good jobs" that pay well. You usually have to have a mixture of post-secondary education AND experience that is relevant. Which is tough.

In my country, Indonesia is quite difficult to get a job. It's because so many fresh graduate from Senior High School and univerity although the company are a lot of too. not to mention the companies make a rules that they only take fresh graduate from University coz they don't want to training the employee from senior high school. so employee from senior high school become production employee in factory with a little salary

I would agree that it is difficult to get jobs nowadays... and that would also depend on the kind of job you have, say you have a job in information technology but they need accountants, or your course was nursing and then there are a lot of nurses still waiting in line. i guess its really just a matter of luck with persistence to be able to land a job that you want. it takes more than what you know now, because we have to also consider those with experiences that are moving from one company to the other, aside from the new graduates who might be willing to work for a lesser salary.

It is not difficult for one to get a job, especially for the young, but to find a good and ideal job is another story. That's why quite a few people are job-hopping from time to time till they find an ideal one with good salary. In our country, there are a lot of job opportunities for English native speakers as the course of English is greatly valued in all school ranging from kindergarten to universities and language training centers. Have a good day.

I think this all depends on the skill an applicant has relevant to the job on hand.
For instance, if the job involves a call center, a person skilled in communication has an edge over those who do not have.
So it is easier for them to get the job.
However, in my country, it is difficult to find a job in general.
It needs patience to be able to land one.
