Well earning money we know that it is hard and really sometimes exhausting but we do have perks like we get to meet different people and we just do a good job, we get a pat on the back some praises from colleagues and some bonus if we really are lucky but the thing is what do we do with the money do we spend it like crazy in the stores or like squirrels and ants, saving food always for the rainy days or snow in some continents, you thrifty?

I am not thrifty if investing money for something worth investing. I would surely do anything to invest and build money and business for something that is very certain.

Hey there vincent, Investing wow, well me i have an investment apart from my savings i put my money on a stock system that promises a 25% increase by the end of the year i have been doing it for the past 3 years but before i put in only a small amount so i get small amount to but now and the upcoming years I'll invest larger. And it is okay because it is dti sanctioned and has 100% coverage so no worries there.

I've been really wanting to learn the stock system to see if I can earn profit frm it. My mother refuses to let me invest because you have to invest a bigger amount for it to be effective. Only investing a little amount produces a little increase. What do you think?

Hey i think if you are really gunning for profit then you should invest big but be careful on what stock and how good is your broker and really if you wish to gain more then invest more just make sure it is not your savings and not your money for expenses, it should be you extra extra money my friend.

I'm kind of inbetween. Most of the time I'm a really conscious customer, but there are stuff/hobbies which I don't really feel sorry splurging on... but in those casesm too, I usually buy cheaper ones (just a lot). I never stock up ridiculous amounts on food, shampoo etc. I find that crazy and paranoid. I always compare the prices of different shops, and now I know where to get what. Coupons aren't that popular in my country as they are in the US, and not in that amount, but I always use them if I get one which is really worth it... but only when it's really worth it. I try to use as little water and artificial lighting as I could. I buy clothes at thrift stores more than brand name retails store-they are so much cooler btw :). And there are some other little things, too-for example, I buy some cheaper fruit syrup, and drink that with water, if I want to drink something more sweet. So much cheaper than pre-made fizzy drinks. Theatre and make-up are, however, my weaknesses (closely followed by books and CDs), but I usually set a budget up for myself in these cases :).

Hey there doroffee, What you pretty much sorted out everything here and i think you have put them in prioritization too, well i also do buy cheap stuff but i choose the things i need cheap things for and one more thing i try to get nice cheap stuff, yeah its rare for me to get coupons here in my country too and yeah leisure is more of theater and alittle fine dining for me nothing more than that.

Hi there laken, Speaking of walmart we also do have our own version of that in the Philippines a store or mall that has cheap yet quality items for everyday living and more and it is called WALTER MART haha a copy from USA's walmart made by a local who have been in the states for 30 years then went home.

I try to be thrifty, but won't go totally overboard and will spend on some luxuries now and again. I think some people go a little crazy, like when they separate two sides of the ply on the toilet paper, or when they eat and drink expired items in the fridge because they don't want to waste. I would never make myself sick just for the sake of a penny or two. How thrifty are you?

Hey there rewrds inlife, Well i wont eat anything old or rotten or expired for that matteer it will be more expenssive to go to the hospital if that ever happens and most definitely my thrifty measure will be defeated in it's purpose

I'm trying to be more of a thrifty person, but I really don't know how -other than to leave my wallet at home! lol I do use coupons sometimes when I go grocery shopping, and check clearance racks..I used to go to places like Salvation Army for clothing, but it's always hit or miss there -and I was usually only in it for the cool finds like vintage designer bags, etc. Hehe I think as long as you have a budget and stick to it, any extra money can be either spent on frivolous things that you enjoy, or saved up to splurge on something like a vacation or a ticket to a concert or something that will leave you with memories, long after the event is over. Sometimes I get so sickened by all the "stuff" I have accumulated - makeup, jewelry, clothing...most of it stuff that I only used a few times or bought on impulse. Maybe I'll have a yard sale... hehe

Hi Abby, Well i guess you know if you have extra to spend why not right me when i am out of them i will try to earn more and save more money and get rid of my debts, and yes it would be biggest if you sell your items that you don't really like so that at least you can get some of your money back..
