i don't like facebook anymore...

Just "unfriend" and bye bye. I would not mind about it. Anyway MyLot is better than FB and you also earn. I've also noticed FB people adding me and then start to spam -- unfriend is the magic button to use ;)

If you don't like FB anymore, would you delete your account? From what I've learned, you hated it because of your cousin whom a friend of yours in FB. Then, better delete him/her from your list of friends. After knowing what your cousin did to you. Would you retain him/her in your list?

thats a good idea. just a suggestion, dont let your unwanted friend come to know of your mylot account. i also like mylot over FB...as it pasy to post

If I understand correctly, your dislike towards Facebook is somehow related to your cousin who irritates you. I'm also an avid fan of that site; I get updates and news, both the good and the bad ones. But you don't have to take it on a personal level. It'll just stress you out. You can just ignore it the thought and move on with your life.

Same here. I'm also new to myLot. I just opened this account hours ago. I was also a avid fan of Facebook. My day won't be complete if I can't open my Facebook account for like 5-6 hours or more a day. Not until Facebook started timeline which is definitely giving me a headache! I tried to open another Facebook account and got the old profile settings back, until Facebook turned that new account I made into timeline again. And guess what? I may be getting hooked with myLot a lot more than Facebook though! Facebook frustrates me every time I take a look or a quick glimpse of my profile and what's worse is I can't do anything about it. :(

Facebook is a social network and mylot is more of a forum where you exchange ideas. it is just normal to get bored of a thing you monotonically do. Time will come you'll miss being on facebook then you'll say you are bored of mylot.

I am an avid Facebook user. I can't go a day without having withdrawals from Facebook. If I don't like someone or do not get along with them. I remove them from my list of friends. This includes family. I have deleted alot of people recently as to clear up my list. I would rather have someone who interacts with me some how. Either by posting on the wall or sharing something or an advid game player.

im stuck right now in that very situation. i want to delete some one and ive even gotten to where i have blocked that person from seeing ANYTHING i post and put on ignore to anything they do but i cant unfriend them without starting a crapload of drama. ive known so many people that end friendships and think their friends need to choose one of the people over the other and i dont want my friends to think or be put in that situation because its not right! im hoping after awhile even though its been 6 months this person will figure it out and leave on their own but with my luck they wont. even though they cant see anything it still bugs me to know they are on my list. i could block them but they know enough people that i know that they would know i didnt delete my account and then all hell would break loose.. UGH

Yup! You can make some here not like in facebook that even a single penny did not happen to earn there. Better to be here because everything you do has a cost and help us a lot more to save money and learn as well...in facebook we only do more to make the owner to be richer and richer

i dont do face book , only to see what my dughter is up to, bad i know but its the way i keep tabs on her she is 21 and not doing well , but i put forth a great effort here on mylot and have made friends as well.. and i love it here and i am doing well as for my pay,, im really happy with that... and mylot will be my own little spending money maker, i have a pt job on weekends to pay bills and hubby works so i can use the money i make her as my bonus money.. i love it, the trick is to do good quality post , not one answers and when you ask questions and people answer you back you need to comment back to thank them for there take advice or whatever.. just be nice as possible and you too will have lots of friends and have fun and make money as well.. just get you a routine or quota daily .. keep up the good work..

I don't like Facebook. Never liked Facebook. Yet, without Facebook I would not have been able to be connected with my family and the friends who have known me for quite awhile now. If you can't stand a person, rather than sit in turmoil, wouldn't you feel better to at least tell them off in private? I would. Don't let that simmer inside of you. Also, go to your privacy settings because from there you can EXCLUDE your cousin from seeing any of your posts. From the main newsfeed page, you can exclude your COUSIN's POSTS from appearing as well. Really though; why can't you just talk to your cousin and let out your feelings?

All that drama in Facebook is just childish. If you don't want to see someone there hide them or unsubscribed from them. Or block them. They can't find you if you block them. There is no reason to go on about it and feel that way when you can be in charge of who your friends are. I have a relative there that acts like she is 12 years old on Facebook. Getting mad and telling people off. I want to tell her to act her age but I just ignore her.

I also like MyLot better than facebook, in facebook some of the post are nonsense and sometimes even if I post something good, they will comment something like "LOL" at least here on MyLot all the responses are informative, and the mylotters are all nice and friendly.

Hi itsmananen, I would log in to face book frequently like what I'm doing at myLot before. I had lot of chitchat with friends day and I really got mad playing games there. But I felt bored and tired of doing so after a few months. Nevertheless I don't seem to have the same feeling even though I have been member of this site for more than five years This shows that there's more fun to stay here. I still enjoy browsing here during my few days vacation at a hill resort. I'm so happy that wifi is available in the Bakery Cafe where I have my lunch here. I like both Facebook and myLot. I'm on Facebook to see all the people I know - and like you, my day is incomplete without looking in there. Sorry to hear about your cousin - but maybe you can block her or at least filter out some of the things you read of hers in the news feed (I think you can do that). Don't let one person discourage you from being where you like to go!! I like myLot too - but I am anonymous here . . . I can talk freely here because no one in my Facebook friends list is here (or at least they don't know that I'm here) . . . and I'd like to keep it that way. Welcome and hope you enjoy it here!! Ah you have just discovered the dark side of Facebook. One of the millions of reasons why I will never log right into it ever again. There are some people who can irritate you to no belief. Granted, it seems like a good idea to add people as friends, but to some people the word "friend" means a license to pester people beyond belief. MyLot is a better place, because Facebook just seems to be like hanging out with your friends at lunch in High School. You could have a good time, but its not like there is going to be any meaningful conversation or anything that is going to cause you to think. On myLot, it is just a website that stimulates conversation and actual thought which you won't get on Facebook.

Poor you...when your cousin irritates you on facebook. However, just try to ignore her id and her message on your facebook profile. it is very nice to hear that you are interested with mylot. Hope you can earn much money with mylot also.
