Did you ever feel depressed? How to get rid of it?

I'm not a person always feel depressed, but sometimes I just can't help feel in this way. There are so many cases that make me feel powerless...Life is beautiful, but it also full of accidents. I usually feel happy about everything when nothing bad happens, the sunshine, plants, foods...But when it comes and I cannot do it, I just feel so down. I always try to persuade myself to be positive, every people could be depressed! Are you feeling the same way?

Yes,
I get depressed easily..anything can depress me.I later realize that i got depressed for a petty issue.But i recover soon.It takes a minute for me to get depressed and a minute to come out of it mostly.But when i can't recover,i just try to spent time alone...because for me depression is accompanied by irritation.I don't want to shout on others.Otherwise i spent time talking to my friends and family...

I do feel it sometimes.I feel sad, lost interest in activities that give me pleasure before,sleep a lot and I do loss my appetite. Depression is just a normal reaction to a certain life event.It may also be brought by certain medical treatments such as those beta blockers.However, if you feel depressed for almost two weeks, that needs a psychiatric treatment.

Actually no more than two days...I do like sleeping and delicious foods, they make me happy all the time!

Nobody ever promised a Rose Garden and never said life would always be easy, so getting depressed and sometimes frustrated for many is a common occurance. But when it tends to take over and you are not able to function and do some of the things that you Love to do than that is not good. The Best thing you can always do is persuade yourself to think positive no matter what you are going thru, and if you believe in Prayer, Pray as that never hurts as well.

We need to be mature in order to be able to manage depression feelings. Firstly, we must always have positive thinking when we face a problem. Later we need to be calm and think about other people. We are not alone and there's lot of people in harder situation than us. This is the most important positive thinking which we must have in our mind. If we can't find a solution for our situation at that time, then we may try to relaxing our mind. By listening to our favourite music, taking warm water bath, or spending a time to window shopping on a mall. However, the question of how to get rid of depressed feeling is totally depends on how much mature that people are. What will we do, it depends on our daily habit. If you are always in good in your daily life, you will also try to do the best you can do for your problem. But if you have bad habit in your daily life, such as drunk, perhaps you will get drunk until you can't standing anymore when you got depressed. So, my suggestion is when you got depressed feeling, you must try to control yourself first. If you can't do it, then you must try to find someone who you believe can give you the best solution, or maybe just can give you good motivation to be the real you. Thank you for your advice. Yes there are many ways to get out...I uaually try music, foods, or just take a walk alone and think by myself...They can help more or less...But for drinking, do you always do that? I drunk once, and feel really terrible! Nothing would be worse that that feeling! Is it that I cannot drink?

What makes you depressed? I think it might be because of the problems you have, to be free with depression just think that our God will not give us problems that we cannot handle so I believed that if you have any problems I believed you can solve that. Just think of this way, think positive. Be optimistic. And think of the people who loves you. I think this is the best thing to help yourself out of depression.

Yes, difficulties would pass someday, anyway God won't leave us behind. I think at this point. Work hard, and my friends and parents are always there for me, that's make me better!

There have been times where I have been done, but I don't really want to say that I have gone so far as to be depressed. Depressed is a term that I think is thrown around a lot. I have seen people have true depression and it is a horrific thing to see, where people just can barely bring themselves to care about living, much less actually being about everything.
Life can bring us down a lot. There are many things in life where we can be brought up by certain points a lot of the time. Yet, there are times where the negative will just really push us down, and threaten us to really bring us down. Life is just like that, it can really be something like that. We try and bring ourselves to the most positive thing out there. But it is really not something that is easy a lot of the time.

We are not normal if we do not feel depressed sometimes. It is a state of deeper sadness within us. The only cure I could think of whenever I feel this way is to think all the positive things in my life. I go out, meet my friends and just mingle with them. This way I easily overcome depression.

yees. it happens very ften. I am alone most of my time. I began to fell bored. And everything begins to annoy me. How to rid off it? i do not know the best way but i would advise to do something interesting or sleep. sleep is the best way to come inside not to feel to be happy. :)

whenever im depressed, i just sleep it all out. and then the next day i would forget how depressed i am the other day. that is my simple solution for my own depression.

Hello allisoncindy! Well, not really. I don't get depressed that easily. If I do get into troubles or depression, I try to see the brighter side of it. As much as possible, I divert my attention to something that sounds more positive. I hope and pray that you'll not be depressed anymore and that you'll see the beauty of life.
