So, my curvy friend will attend a wedding on Saturday (she's a bridesmaid too)
Now here comes another problem.
She checked the nearest dog hotel in their area and find out that the it is under construction.
Thu the hotel already accepts occupants- my friend is hesitant to leave her babies (dogs)
Now here she comes with puppy eyes asking me to baby sit -no- dog-sit her babies
a black chow-chow and collie (Shetland sheepdog)
Actually, she's not asking me , she's only informing me about her plan
Have you ever tried baby sitting, I mean dog-sitting (is that the right term( hehehe-lols)
Good day everyone
jaiho®- dog-sitter
4-25-2012 4:48pm Wednesday PT
CHECK THEIR PHOTO
meet YURO (chow-chow) and EVERETTE- (Shetland sheepdog)

@ jai,
The curvy lady is so relief that she found a family who is much willing to take care of her babies (dogs) .
This is the first time I am going to leave them for a day to someone oh well they know all of you so you are not just someone .
I am confident enough that they will be take care of more than I expected
Don't forget our date tomorrow

Hi Viju
Yes, I will be the tutor in case di needs one...
See the dogs only know a few words like Warf! and rrrr! so it is not that difficult. Now what these words mean... that is the difficult part... and is covered only in the training sessions - not in the teasers for them

For the dog lovers, dog sitting should be fun. Those dogs are cure so I can say that they might not be too hard to take care of. And I know you are good so you can handle dog sitting well . Good luck if you ever get to dog sit those cute dogs

hello gaiza,
I also have dogs, there was a time we have a dozen of dogs at home.
But high maintenance forced me to give away the others.
My kids are too excited to dog-sit them- they love those dogs, we often visit my friends house and my kids play with those dogs :)
thanks and have a good day

I could also see your curvy friend responding here in this discussion saying you would take care of her dogs better than she would. So,what next?
Dog-sitting?Oh i guess you need not sit with that all the time. Why not a nice phrase? Like "DOGS-care" oops, guess even i don't get any good term there. So have you already tried with it? If not, then how are you going to take care of those dogs?
However, those dogs are really nice.Yuro and Everette rock! And i haven't tried dog-sitting.Baby sitting-yes, for two times-seeing-i mean looking after my cousin's daughter.Oh no you could say dog-sitting is better then!Glad you never did any of those baby-sits!Haha!
Chow chow!
Lol lol!

yes, since those dogs are still puppies, we already played with them
I often visit my friend and even help her take those dogs to their vets.
When we have time, we took them for a walk or roam around.
I remember one time we bring those dog when we buy some foods and the store owner really come out to see what kind of dogs that he sees...
well- black chow is a rare breed and yuro looks scary if you do not know him :)

hello shrinithi,
Dog-care ,dog-sit....hehehe I just can't find the right term :p
I love dogs, my kids love dogs.
We also have dogs at home that is one reason why curvy lady is confident we will take care of her babies.
Her babies also know us already, each time we visit her, those dogs always welcome us with a big hug - oh yeah - a big hug as you can see they're really big (hehehe)
Yuro is so big and a bit heavy too.
They also behaves well- and they loves to roam around.
I am sure my son will have a great time with them in the park
Thanks and have a good day

Aww, they are so adorable, thanks for sharing their picture..
I love dogs and I see you do too and that she is paying your kids, so does this mean your kids are doing the work?
Anyway, I have been dog sitting for various neighbors for years now and I love it. I also have told my neighbors they don't have to pay me,because I see it as, either I take care of the dogs, or they are inside for too long(I mostly dog sit when people are gone to work, but have dog sit a few times when they went on vacation), but they pay me anyway. The only exception was the neighbor whose dog was very old and couldn't hold it for long, so I let him out anywhere from 2-4 times a day. Though they didn't pay me every week, every year, at the end of the year, they would give me a $100 gift card for the local grocery store and a gift basket of goodies.

That is wonderful jaiho, because this also teaches your kids responsibility and will give them not only a sense of self-worth, but experience in doing a job, even when they don't "feel" like it..

hello carmela,
Yes,it's my kids who's gonna do the dog-sitting.
Actually it should be me- but my kids loves dog more than I do.
They love those dogs as well, whenever they miss those dogs, we drove to my friend's house to visit those dogs and my friend knows that (hahaha)
Maybe because my kids played with those dogs since they were puppies.
My son took them for a ride and roam around sometimes.
Now, my kids will surely love to spend a whole day with those dogs- my kids are waiting for this day and they are granted unexpectedly
and with a bonus- they'll be paid :)
I did not ask my friend to pay, but she says..for the kids, so they can have some extra income -not bad then.
Thanks and have a great weekend ahead

Exactly just what you've said.
Although I am sure they will love it-since they really love pets especially dogs, this experience will make them more responsible and will make them realize the real essence of responsibility :)

the dogs are cute! But well i do not think i can handle dog-sitting though...

This will be our first time to baby sit err dog sit (hehehe)
Although the dogs are not strangers to us.
We've played with those dogs since they're puppies and we played with them until now.
We often visit this curvy friend so her dogs knows us very well.
Sometimes we bring them for a ride and roam around- so, there won't be a problem dog sitting those little giants (uh uh..they're really big than ordinary ones)
I am thinking of making this a serious career-

That's nice. I love dogs. If I would be given a chance to babysit a dog. It would be perfect. Most dogs are friendly and they can feel if someone is friendly as well.

hello jaiho!!
i'm sure your curvy friend's babies will enjoy staying with you for a day... i saw their photos and they look so cute especially yuro... hahaha! i've been wanting to have my own shih tzu!!!! my sister had it before but because she could no longer take care of it, she had to sell it to someone she knows... i don't know how is that puppy now but i'm confident that they really take good care of it...
i want to get a puppy but im afraid i can't take good care of it the way others do.. so i just really enjoy watching a dog i saw walking somewhere.. by the way, aside from shih tzu, i also want to have an akita... they both look so lovely and adorable!
thanks!!!! ^^, til next time! :)

hello expect,
I know shih tzu are cute ones - so hugable :p
Toy dogs are also cute- but too fragile.
Well, your decision is much better- not to have one dog unless you are confident that you can devote some time with them.
Dogs/pets needs care and time like humans too :)
See you soon...that is for sure

Wow, that's really cute. I have seen dog-sitters in movies but here in our country, dog sitters are not really popular. I think its quite a fun job. It is also a challenging one in my opinion considering that dogs tend to choose the people that they trust and tend to be loyal to their masters. However, I really salute you. You must really like dogs a lot since your friend's dogs warm up to you.

Hi,
I think it is very difficult job. We don't have any pet. Those who have pets want someone to look after their pets when they have to go for function or to visit some relatives. I never tried dog sitting. And don't want to this job in the future also.

I"ve not tried to baby sit a dog. But in that case if you really care your friend and you are free during that time, why not accept his offer for you. Maybe the party will not take to long. The question is do you like the dog? And if yes just accept and give him a time frame what time he will get the dog.
