Online shopping is more and more popular.

All of my officemates are now shopping online. There is no need for them to waste time, effort and gas going out to buy what they need. They are now dependable shopping online. After few days, my neighbor is sharing a story how he bought his new dog online. I noticed that online shopping is more and more popular as days go by.

I am a person who doesn't like to buy the things on online. I find it is quite very risky to do it. A single piece of mistake can cause a large problems. So this is the one of the reason why I don't shop online. I mostly used to go for shopping with the expenses to meet them.

I love to shop online and do it more with each passing year. I can stay at home and shop in my jammies and I don't have fight a crowd in the store. I am also saving gas money, and with the price these days of fuel for your car, every little bit of savings helps. I am also all for getting free gift certificates online. That makes for some really good shopping online!

Also, you maybe be able to find some good deals online vs, what the local shops are offering. When it comes to online shopping, it comes down to who has the better deal. There is also the convience of not having to deal with the hassle of going out and buying things. You can stay in the comfort of your own home.

I have bought many different things online. I epecially like to buy things like books, cds and dvds, because I never have to worry about the size. I haven't bought clothes and shoes online, I like to see those things in person before I buy them and I like to try on the clothes and shoes so that I get the right size. I have also bought my watch online. I received it in the mail and it looked just like I imagined, do I didn't regret my purchase. I think that there are advantages as well as disadvantages about online shopping. It is great that you shop from your own home. It is especially nice for a person like me, because I live on an island with no malls and it takes me a while to drive to mall on the neighbour island. It is easier and less time consuming to visit the online shops and I receive my purchases in the mail. Sometimes the things that we buy look different on the pictures and when we receive them the colours and the sizes are different from the way that we expected. Another is disadvantage is the fact that we have to pay for shipping when we buy online.

Hi TK! I too go for online shopping but never for clothes and shoes. I need to feel myself in those first before i could really buy it. If i were to buy something online, it would be food, books and beauty stuff! hahaha! Take care!

i have not tried shopping online because some of my friends had bad experiences about some online shops. so i was kind of scared that what if my money would just be a waste. my friends once shopped online and they paid but the items they ordered weren't given to them. they try contacting the seller but she cant be reached. so maybe that was a scam. that scares me so im not into this kind of shopping.

I'm kind of in the phase when I'm going to be used to it. I was afraid of it for a long time, whether the value is going to be ok, whether they are going to fish for my data from my bank card and stuff... I've only bought CDs so far, and I've ordered a ring from ebay, but I'm planning to order more stuff (especially other CDs, make-up and books I can't buy in Hungary).

Yes, i do like to shop online. This is because if you know what you are doing, the price are much more cheaper than at the local market. I've been doing a survey about the blackberry housing because blackberry is becoming more and more popular among my friends. The result is, the price at local market is usually 2-3 times than buying online and sometimes can even reach 4-5 times at certain places. This is not about the quality since it's the same and i even ask the seller how much they actually bought these housing, and they replied the same or higher amount than the online market. Because most online seller like ebay sells items in wholesale price which locally you can only get that price if you buy bulk, like 100-1000 units or more. It's not their fault because they need to pay the rent and all. The only reason most people still didn't shop online is because of the time required for shipping and they don't actually have the knowledge to do so. Most of my friends are really interested in buying online because of the prices, but they didn't know a single thing on how to do that, like paypal, and how to add funds in paypal. All they did was ask me to buy it for them and then i charge some fees and they agree with that since it's still much more cheaper than the local price which is 2-3 times more than the item price plus my fees or i usually call it tax.

Yes I do agree that online shopping is a good service, but it also have some drawbacks, like online scams, a number of times I became victim I brought a software online after making the payment, I received the download link, it got downloaded and when I actually used it, I found out that it does not perform as it was advertized, I tried to claim the money back but got no response. So I say you have to be extra careful when buying online.
