I admit that I am not a rich person and is having troubles daily about my bills and expenses. Yet I do not want these problems hinder me to enjoy my life. After all, we only have a short life to live and I certainly don't want to spend it worrying about bills. Can you suggest some ways ar activities to do this? More power to all.

Man, this is a hard question. I agree with you in a sense. We get so caught up in every day things like paying bills that sometimes we forget to 'enjoy life' and enjoy the little things. The problem is our day to day needs must be filled. I think the best thing we can do is get a job where we aren't SO strapped for cash, budget well, and enjoy everything in between without stressing too much over the little stuff.

maezee thanks for sharing your ideas. I am glad that you can relate to me but I think finding that kind of job isn't easy specially these days the no one should be picky.

Not only that but I find it doesn’t really make you happy. Now I want to help answer the question how to enjoy as I think the answers is in the little things we can do to enjoy our life. However, getting a job only puts more demand on my need for clothes. I have too many other bills to buy the ones I want and I what I want is nice new quality clothes not used inferior clothes. It is a vicious circle. I guess I just have find enjoyment without clothes.

A few months ago, I met a hitchhiker named Freek. Funny name. We talked for a long time. One of the things I will NEVER forget is something he told me: Life is beautiful, cherish it. If you have no money for a ride, take a walk - it"s good for your health, you see something new every time and it is FREE.

Hello! It's true that life without money is not happy. But sometimes money cannot make people happy all the time. For me i can enjoy life with the little money that you have. In just relaxing in the mall, doing window shopping it will make you relax and can relieve stress. If you have a little money simple you can use it in the most important thing that makes you happy in that moment like playing in the game playing station in the mall.

I think that the main thing that you have to remember is that money is not the most important thing in your life. The thing that is the most important is the people who you choose to spend your life with, and everything will get a lot easier once you realise this and put it into practice. I don't have all that much money, but when I go to see my family we do things like walk around the park or go for a short walk in the countryside; which is free, but is still quality time with those who we love, and the free times have honestly been some of the most enjoyable times in my life to date.

I don't have a lot of money either and I try to find free or cheap things that I can enjoy. One of the favourite free activies in the summer months is picnics at the beach. My husband and I pack some food and something to drink and then we go the beach. We find a nice place to sit and enjoy our food. Sometimes we choose one of the picnic tables near the harbour instead, but my favourite place is the beach.
I use the library a lot. In addition to books I borrow lots of cds and dvds. I can't afford to buy my own cds and dvds at the moment, so it is very nice that I am able to borrow free music and free movies at the library. Sometimes my husband and I or my friends and I arrange a movie night where we watch movies for hours. If we get the movies from the library we only need to buy some candy and it is a cheap way to enjoy ourselves.

It's all about finding pleasure and joy even in the smallest thing. Enjoying nice weather, being well rested, appreciating that you are healthy and okay, hanging out with friends, stuff like that. But what activity is best when it comes to this also depends on what you like.
For me, talking to friends and being outdoors does wonders!

I am trying to find this out myself too. I still can
do fun things even without spending too much but
I don't get enough fun from it. The most enjoyable
things to do always require a lot of money.

By making priorities what to pay first which is (as soon as my income is there): rent, gas/electricity, health insurances, water bill, etc.
After that I have very less left over (too less to live from). So I do some shoppings, live more and more by the day (or is it moment).
I spend time with me, developing myself, reading, searching for info, mostly inside my house and keep my mind busy. I also make arts (with my kids) out of "garbish" no need to buy.

I had this problem and still have that I can't spend much on enjoying life. Depending where you live, you can go and explore the town, go hiking, get together with friends and make a picnic together. I would check if there are free programs, like concerts or lectures (if you haven't had enough of them) in your town.
