Why do people keep playing games?

Sometimes when I see people in love, I envy them.
But not anymore because when I was single I used to think relationships are perfect, not anymore.
These days ladies are only thre for the money, my last relationship was that bad that we fell out of love and hated each other and decided to play crazy games on each other that cost one of us almost everything.not me though and she started it because she was there for the money then.
Anyways i still see love these days but I now know that a perfect relationship does not exist, just people trying to make it right.
So to all people out there; Quit playing games with your partners heart

There really is no perfect relationship. you just have to work it out together. but i am so sorry you had to go through that with your ex but not all girls are just after the money. no all of you boys have money anyway LOL but seriously, if you say that again, that only means you have been through with a lot of relationships already to be saying something like that and all the same cases where the girls were just after your money.
i know how hard it is to be played around. it makes us confused and just broken. but yet still we can't give up on the situation because we are too blinded by our love for the person...

Well that's just the way things are these days, a lot is given to possesing material things and ladies use their body as a gateway to getting them from men, its shameful you know, am not saying all women, but majority of them do around the world, some not directly but deep down they have hidden agenda's

Sorry to hear that you were hurt in a relationship. Not all relationships are bad. You sound like you are young. Be patient and you will find the right one for you. It is always bad when one party or both seek revenge. What do they gain? Usually nothing other than looking bad to others. They are so full of hate that they cannot love anyone. Love starts with yourself and an open heart. Good luck in finding the right girl!

But am not that young for real, well that is relative because what seems young for you may seem old for me.
My last failed relationship was a long time ago and I learnt lots of things from it.And yes love starts with yourself, if you cannot love the little things about yourself, then you cannot love anyone at all.

To me once you approach 40 is old, am not saying am close to 40 but c'mon am not young, now you tell me, for you, what do you consider as young?

I love it when you wrote that there is no perfect relationship, only people trying to make it right. I agree with you on this. I have long given up my grand dream of being in a perfect relationship because it does not exist. But it does not mean that i no longer believe in love because I do. I still do and most probably, will always do.
I have my heart badly broken by men before and it should make me bitter. But I rather took it as a learning experience rather than bask on the feeling of hopelessness. Because just like what you said, there is no perfect relationship, only people trying to make it right. And I guess in time, I will be one of those people who will try to make things right. When I am ready.

By the way, it aint that I no longer really believe in love, I just don't believe what seems to exist these days is the genuine love, you know that unconditional love. But its all good, let's all try to make things right in our lives and relationship and I think that would solve some of the problems in the world if not all, because I once heard a song which goes ''All we need is love'' Imagine if everybody loved each other? This world would be peaceful and be a better place for us all.

I'm really sad to hear that it has ended badly for you, but don't give up hope. Not all relationships are bad. They bring joy to our lives. So whatever you do, don't give up.
I can't say that all ladies are bad/good, but I'm sure you'll find the right one for you (that is not after money) and who you can become old with.
