It's been a year since I visited mylot as I got a new job that kept me busy and took my precious time from checking the responses from my discussions. I am just wondering if you guys still have the interest to answer back the response/s you've got from your discussions even it was posted a year after? Like what I have said, been away for a year so it took me time to respond to the comments.

Welcome Back!!! and yes, I would respond, because if I commented, I think it would be interesting to read what I said and your response and most importantly, if I did respond to one of your posts, would I now have a different perspective and change my mind..lol

Yes, because in a years time, people can change, so I am looking forward to seeing if I had the time to reply to one of yours, because last year at this time, I was deep in my studies and wasn't as active here.

Thank you Carmelanirel. It's nice to see you again. Sometimes it makes you wonder or curious what he/she would have to tell you now after being away for a long span of time.

Welcome back! Yes I would still respond on them. I still comment on comments that I hadn't realised had appeared on my older topics. Sometimes they receive a new response and then I go through them all and often have a surprise or two when I see new comments. If you comment you might find that those users are still here and will be pleased to see you back and will return the comment too. You will also be earning too because it doesn't matter how old the topic is where you particpate, and it all adds up

Thanks mysdianait for the warm welcome. Actually I was surprised that my account is still active even if I've been away for a year. The first thing I did is to respond all the comments under my discussion/s . It's good to know that you still bother to return back the comments though answered after a long period of time.

MyLot doesn't delete inactive accounts. They just remove the accumulated earnings if a user is inactive for three months/90 days but it is enough just to log in(even without posting) to avoid that happening.

Yeah Lance26, I still have great interest to comment back to new response or responses in my old discussion certainly. I would be happy as well if seeing comments left in any of my old responses that I had made for quite some time I would like to read the comment and would comment back if I still have more to share with. Such situation have happened to me quite often. You know I did receive comments in some of my old responses made for than a year. The wonderful thing here is, there isn't any time limited for us when to respond or to comment back in discussions. I really enjoy having fun writing post here randomly whenever I can spare my leisure time without any stress Happy posting

Hi! Welcome back! Well, I guess it is still worth responding for. Anyway it is just there and never lost. And whenever the response was made, it's okay as long as there was effort in posting a response to it. Happy mylotting!

I think every post here is worth responding to not only you exchange ideas but also earn from it. Sometimes I'm lost of words more so if the comments are having the same thought as the others.

Yep, I've doen that before. Maybe not as long as a year, but sometimes I'll be away for a few months, and when I come back I will go and answer any responses I got while I was away. I will also sometimes respond to posts that were made a long time ago.

I get so many mylot reminders that I have them sent to an e-mail that is not my main address so I forget to look at them often.

Actually mylot keeps me posted while I was away by sending me email notifications. So somehow I could see those comments from my discussions but have no time to return to them. Now I'm back I'll try to comment back to each of every poster.

Welcome back! I am one of those who were like you here. I was busy last year and I admit, I really have no time to respond to all my friends discussion. I just kept them in my inbox and slowly responding to it one by one until I can respond to it all. Most discussions are 8 months to 1 year old, but I still respond to it anyway especially when the discussion still has no best response and those discussions that doesn't require an immediate response.

It happens all the time even if you are here only a month ago. It's good you still remember your username . I have the time to respond to the discussions of my friends 8-12 months ago just now. I still have a thousand discussions to read and maybe respond to if I can relate to them

At least you had time to respond to them, unlike me straight a year or so I didn't bother to read at all as I am really busy that time. Do you believe that I even forgot what my password is?

Hi there! Welcome back. If the comments are still relevant and if you want to comment back then sure...why not? So are you going to be on here regularly again?

Yes I would still respond on them even if it's posted a year after. You see, our responses are very important because we are not the only viewers of your topics. Our topics here will be displayed in different search engines and visible to the whole wide word so our responses are very important not for the sake of our fellow mylotters but for the sake of all the people who are interested to your topics.

Wow! Forgive my ignorance as I didn't know that our discussions could appear on world wide search engines. Thanks for the information. It's good to know that other people may also benefit from our topics.

I think it's fun to see a new response even a year (or in some cases, years) after I posted. It's a nice little surprise. I may not respond back immediately, or at all, but I still read whatever message is posted. I think it'll be fine if you respond to everybody in your discussion a year after you made it. I don't think anyone will be annoyed or think it no longer relevant unless the discussion had to do with current events that have long since become not current.

I did respond to my posters although not to everyone as soon as I opened my discussions. They might be surprised seeing their comments being answered back a year after. Anyway it's better late than never at all.

Hi Lance, I will do that. Even if the discussion thread is very old, I do participate in it. I do not see why we should not take part in old discussion. Some of the users might leave Mylot, and forget all about it. Our reply will send to their email, and they may even return after a year gap or even a few years' gap.

Very true. We are not permanent posters here, others just come here to kill their time while some are making this site as their way of getting extra income but as soon as they find something more worthy (for them?) they leave mylot. The good thing is the discussion is still there and even in the absence of topic starter we can still broaden the discussion but ofcourse with the participation of the other posters.

I do not usually go back after that long of a time has passed. But if someone comments on an old discussion no matter how old it was or how long ago I started it then I will respond to those. Nice to see you back!

Nice to see you too. It maybe late for me to reply but I think that's a good way to refresh myself here in mylot. And it's good to see the flow of discussion after being away for a year or so.

1 year is long time to be away from mylot. There are changes to friends, discussions we started and commented. However, as long as the discussion is still valid, everybody is free to comment no matter how old it is. Anyway, whether it's a year or not, responders has been rewarded with their earnings when they commented on your post. Your own comment back to them only ensures your own earnings. It's entirely up to you to decide if you want to comment back. After all, 1 year later, some members are no longer around.

I couldn't agree more. Commenting back would not only guarantees your earnings but it also contributes to the discussion and somehow giving the poster a favor as he has something to get back on his/her own post.

I still would respond to those, especially if it has substantial content and would help further the discussion. Afterall, it adds to the cents. Also, if I have an idea for a new discussion and I search for similar existing topics and saw that the last post was at least a year ago, I would still respond to it, too. I don't know if that's being silly, but i think it reactivates the topic.

I don't think it's silly. Like what you said it reactivates the topic, so it somehow help both the starter and the commenter to expand the discussion and possibly attract others to participate.
