Today is William and Kate's first anniversary. That's right, today is the day they said their vows exactly one year ago. It doesn't seem like it has been a whole year, but indeed, it has!
Kate has been officially accepted into the royal threshold and it seems that the Queen approves of Kate. Kate dug right in and announced her four charities she would back and sponsor a couple of weeks ago. She also gave her first public speech while husband William was out of the country. She relied on Charles, her father in law, to lead and guide her. William was also reported to lend a hand over the telephone.
Do you think Kate is a good princess and will do a good job for England? I certainly think she will be a great princess and will be doing her best at learning the "royal" ropes, as she will one day be the Queen of England.
What do you think of Kate and her work so far?

My first impression of her wasn't great when she ignored a guard after he had saluted her before the wedding. I guess she is fine now and hear she is helping out a lot in the community so that is a good thing. I hope she takes care of herself though, because you must do this first, in order to help take care of others.

I too have warmed up to her. I think she has not only captured the hearts of the the people in her country, but all over the world. She seems to be a delightful and highly intelligent young lady. I wish her the best!

It's too bad Diana isn't alive to see this. She deserved to see this happen more than Charles. Perhaps William chose someone like his mother. He certainly seems to have more class than his father. I can't imagine him cheating on Kate with an older married woman. Anyway, back to the happy couple. I know there is a buzz about a baby, but I hope they don't rush into it. They seem to be doing so well on their own. Congrats to them.

I agree. It is very sad that Diana is not alive to see her children marry. I think she would have been very proud of his choice and also waiting a few years before they got married.
I'm betting that a baby will be in the near future. Kate is no spring chicken so if she doesn't start soon, she will be popping them out every year if they want several kids. I don't see that happening.
You are right, they are a very cute couple! And William seems to have a lot more sense than his dad where relationships go.

She can be a very Royal person being a very good princess for sure... she has it in her blood i guess..But only thing is she needs to keep up good relation with all family members along with social service , so that we dont have a Diana out of her ..touch wood!!

Kate has done a wonderful job. She managed to charmed not only the whole of England but also the whole world. Personally, I prefer William to be the next-in-line to the throne with Kate as the beautiful Queen of England. You cannot have a divorcee as the Queen of England. Remember William's great uncle King Edward abdicated his throne to his younger brother George as King Edward's wife was a divorcee.

Yes, it has been an entire year already since the big wedding day! Simply amazing. It does seem like just a few months ago.
I agree, Kate is a wonderful young lady and much more mature than Diana when she married Charles. I think the Royal family took that into consideration and learned a lesson from the past.
