In the middle of the night, I find myself wandering outside the house. The rain haas stopped and the earth just got dry in minutes. My kids were asleep and I thought of my husband, he's not yet home. Suddenly, I saw two shadows creeping behind the tree. I heard voices, not so loud but enough for me to hear them. It was my intention to listen but when they came out from behind the tree, I recognized the guy. He was one of my bother's closest friend. I felt curiosity. The girl was crying and the guy looks drunk. From what I heard, the girl wanted to go home, but the guy refused. The girl turned away, but the guy twisted her hand, which made her scream. I was alarmed with what I saw. I wanted to help the girl but I don't know what to do. I never had that kind of experience before with my boyfriend and even now with my husband and I never wish to something like that would happen to me or to anyone else. The girl tried to let go but the guy would just twist her hand harder and harder and so the girl cried and screamed again. I went inside the house 'cause I didn't want to see and hear the girl's cry anymore. I just thought that its their kind of business and I have to mind mine too. After a couple of minutes my husband came in. (He always came home late 'cause he's a driver). We talked about what I saw and he said he saw them too but not having a quarrel. They were hugging each other. Funny I thought.

wow, what a turn of events in such a short time..
all I can say is that it really could have turned out
in a totally different way...who knows..
But it should be a wake up call for you...Not sure
about your neighborhood, but why are you out roaming
around at night like that....suppose it had not been
someone you knew...What were you thinking??? you did
say that hubby was not home and the kids were asleep....
Better safe than sorry...be careful....

I agree with bjc, this could have been a dangerous situation for the girl and you as well if the guy saw you and was out to hurt someone. You never know in these days and times. Stay safe and indoors when your hubby isn't home yet and it is after dark.
