I have no idea how they make their money but I know Triond accepts stories. Well Triond basically accepts anything as long as its written in English! :p I would stay away from Triond though, they have dropped the pay-rate so much that it just isn't worth using anymore.

Funny you mention Triond because I signed up years ago and never did anything. After reading so much bad publicity about them, never went back to get it started. Wonder why they dropped their ratings so low?

it is quite difficult to evaluate new websites that pay 100% for submitted articles. first, they do not divulge how much they earn. they could always tell the authors that they are giving away 100% of the earnings, but actually, they only give away a portion of the total earnings. you are right, how can they survive the operation cost if they do not earn from the articles.

You are correct, they could actually be doing this. Or maybe technology is so accurate, they allow members to see the traffic and earnings info. Then again, if one wanted to do all this, they could just do it themselves with a blog and ensure you get 100% of the revenue. See above poster for his idea which is a really good one on how they might be earning their share.
