This is the third time I'm meeting "mamang sorbetero" (sorbet seller) in Jula Vargas Ave, a very unusual experience for me since you can't get anyone selling these in business districts.
You'll find them usually in marketplaces and somewhere public. But not in a main road to C-5 road. Like this is the place where I'm usually walking from my workplace to another workplace that we have.
Point here why enjoy this is because you can put this ice cream in soft bread and eat them under the basking sun. And all hell breaks loose especially summer noon; you'll dying for these cold yummy stuff. It may not as creamy as other ice creams can offer. It is the tradition. This is about the hard work of the manong pushing his cart along the long road. I mean; I could have buy ice cream in 7-eleven stores or in supermarkets but in that case; he also gave me the convenience and versatility(and you won't get a ice cream in bread anyway)
What the heck; I never commented about the flavor. Typican Ice cream as it may sounds but; hey... this is a ice cream topic. It just reminds me of a good stuff one hot afternoon: Sorbet.

I haven't eaten that kind of ice cream for years . I only eat it when we order one gallon of it when ever there is a celebration at home, but not those that are being sold my manong sorbetero. We do know someone who makes those kinds of ice cream that is why we can order one when ever we want. Kids love it especially during summer since they don't have class and they always see it roaming in the street with the bell in their hand. We already know that Manong is already here when we hear the bell . Wow, I miss those days when we were still kids and used to eat these kind of ice cream.

I love it. You have just shared your childhood experiences with ice creams.
I'm now visualizing mine. After eating our share of ice cream from the gallons, we wash it and play the container and put toys on it ^_^-)
Today; we're seeing containers and placing food or viand and placing them in the fridge for further use (typical storage bin for food) and it's not the same imagination like what you have during childhood when looking at the empty ice cream gallons.
Love being a kid again ^__^-)

I do not live in the same country as you and therefore, I would not be able to understand or explain perfectly your brand of ice cream in your country of residence.
However, I want to say that I enjoy eating ice cream especially during the hot sunny weather. When the weather is chilly or cold, it is not advisable to take ice cream.
Please go straight to the point when next you place a post so that your reader can understand your question better so as to give a positive response.

Have you felt eating ice cream during hot weather the best thing happened during the day? Of course you did, right? That's how I felt during this time ^___^-)
Anyways; happy mylotting.

Yes I agree. The dirty ice cream has really a different taste and textures which I makes it the favorite of many compared to the most common ice cream sold from the grocery.
