It's So Much FUN Laughing Until You Cry!

Even though Mum was telling me about my Dad and his latest choking incident (now resolved) we didn't half have fun chatting on the 'phone earlier. One of the things she told me concerned her new toilet brush. I ordered it online a while back and she loves it. So much so she actually hates having to use it..but, anyway, AFTER using it she makes sure she holds the brush, adds bleach to it, then flushes the toilet.. "I don't want any particles left on there," she told me. "You mean sh!t don't you Mum?" "Yes.." That's the time we just fell about laughing. Stupid isn't it but at the time we thought it was sooo funny! So funny in fact the pair of us had tears running down our faces with laughter. Why do we laugh at such stupid things? I don't know either! She also mentioned something that happened in her old workplace whereby one of the workers wanted to know where the keys for the boiler room were. She said, "They're over there in that little receptacle." "Er, WHAT? You mean that BOX?!" "Yeh!" Haha! Mum's are so entertaining, and in actual fact John has made me laugh loads of times this weekend as well. Have you ever laughed so much you started crying? Isn't it FUN!

I had a "laugh until I cried" event at work with the manger a couple of weeks ago. It wouldn't be funny to anyone else, but it was to us at the time. It had to do with a guy that randomly tags her in facebook photos, and her calling me a warty hairy rear (we're friends outside of work so I allow her to say such things to me at work....lol) and I promised I was going to find a picture of a warty hairy rear and post it on facebook and tag her in it. Before the convo was over I had tears streaming down my face and was laughing so hard I couldn't breath.

It is like jogging for your insides. It keeps things moving well and the laughter and tears together make many things take a new perspective. Good to be able to laugh with a manager.

A great example of what I mean. Funny to you but to outsiders we're thinking.."Huh!" Excellent stuff!

hi its the little things that s trike us as silly .I am'remembering a little boy about five sitting and giggling and watching the adult research librarians running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to figure out why this one kid's computer was not working. they could not log on. I was just starting my rounds shelving kids books. they had even called a computer tech. Okay.the kids computers all are plugged in to the floor outlets. I saw where this giggly boy was looking under the desk of the non- working computer. Okay I walked over and there it lie the plug not into the outlet but lying loose. So I just bent down , pushed the plug in . then went around and logged onto the computer. immediately I had fou r librarians all around me,. " how did you do that?" :"I could not get it to work., what did you do?" I looked at then all and giggled,."I just looked under the desk, and it was unplugged.S o I plugged it in.No problem" by now some were snickering and some were laughing like I was with tears running down our cheeks. The moral to my story is always check to see if any electrical appliance is plugged in. seriously. simple logic

Actually my nephew worked in a call center for helping people with electronic problems with their television service or some such. Literally the first question they were always supposed to ask was "Is it plugged in?" I find it funny about the little boy laughing about the unplugged computer. Do you suppose he unplugged it?

I do! I remember when my Mum had her new telly about 3 years ago and "it wasn't working." Dad couldn't get it to work either. It just had a "blank screen" apparently. When Mum rang me about it (bearing in mind I'm 100 miles away) I tried troubleshooting the problem as I knew the telly was connected to the Sky+ digibox. After a while I had a "Eureka" moment as I suddenly realised what was wrong. I asked Mum what colour the light was on the digibox. "Red" she replied. The reason why the telly wasn't working was due to the digibox being OFF, hence the black screen. "From now on Mum, remember that red means off and green means on." She still rings me about technical problems..but not as often!!

I absolutely love laughing with my family, and there are some moments such as the one that you describe that we would never be able to create again no matter how hard we tried. It is great that you get along with your family so well that you feel as though you can have this much fun, and laughing is good for our health so this means that it is good for that reason as well. It has been proven that those who are happier get bad illnesses a lot less, so we should all try to laugh more in our lives and see just how much good it can do for us!

I am the kind of person who laughs at things that are really not funny for others. I laugh at small thins actually so when hearing or seeing a very nice joke would really make me laugh hard. There was this one time when I was playing my online game, I came across my real life friends character, I waved at her but unfortunately she didn't wave back. I was wondering what her toon was doing so I cam closer. Saw her toon going up and down like crazy, it was not an ordinary act in any of the toons of that game so I was really laughing hard for her toon was doing something really stupid. I texted her and ask what was her toon doing and she also didn't know, she was away from keyboard for she was preparing their dinner. I got my phone and got a video of it. I couldn't stop laughing then because that was the first time I have seen a toon ingame doing something real stupid. Even after the toon has stopped doing it, I still can't help myself but laugh real hard. Saw the video again and again and still it never kept me from laughing at it. If only i could upload the vid here, you would also enjoy watching it. It was a good laugh, that was one of the best days of my life. Laughter really is the best medicine for all your problems, stress and issues in life

I have no idea what a toon is but over here it's a shortened name for the city of Newcastle!

I'm sorry about that, I wasn't thinking that not all play online games here. A toon is what we sometimes call a character or a player's character in game. Those are the ones we create and play.

Laughing is a natural medicine that keeps us growing younger, happier and stronger. However, a lot of persons still find it hard to laugh to often maintain a strong face and strong personality which keeps people away from their midst.

Laughing IS good for the soul, that is soo true. Apparently, laughing hard three times a day makes us live longer..or something. Whatever it does for us it isn't bad so is good enough for me.

My kids used to get me going all the time. It did feel good. I had not done it for awhile until just last week. In fact, I do not think my current husband had ever seen it go quite that bad. Love it.

Hello Janey1966, Laughing is very good, I can remember laughing so hard until the next day my stomach would be so sore... And I have also had times where I would laugh so hard I could hard catch my breath. And I think the funniest times are when me and my hubby would get in bed and he would talk about things that are just hilarious and I would have to tell him to stop and go to sleep

Laughter is the best form of medicine there is as it lightens up your spirits and feel quite happy on something not even funny but just considering the one you shared that moment of laughter with is someone who is in the same boat as to appreciate that one funny moment.

I'm hoping to repeat the process again when I ring Mum up tomorrow, something I always do on a Tuesday. She's bound to say something that has me rolling around in laughter.

Your Mum is fond of making jokes, the same with your Dad."Laugh and grow fat",laughing is beneficial to our health in body and mind. People that are always smiling tend to be young for their years.Over here we have a kind of folk art form called comic dialogue .Setting people laughing by funny remarks features it.

as the saying goes, laughter is the best medicine.it really is a very good exercise esp.for our heart.when our heart is being exercised, a generous amount of oxygen is being supplied to our body esp.our brain.in which good supply of oxygen makes you active at daytime and can give quality work.how happy your family is!happy laughing:))
