this is like another phase where i know i have to endure
the thing is my kid's nanny, just announced this morning she needs to go home TONIGHT! what the - i barely have time to look for a replacement. My parents are out of town so they could not help me. i cannot just leave my kids at home.
the good thing is tomorrow is a holiday, so i have tomorrow to look for someone to look after my kid. This is the hardest again.

hi jazel__juan maybe a daycare center for children until your nanny comes back? Or a cousin or some relative that would not mind minding your child for a few days?Is the nanny coming back or is this permanent? I wish you a lot of luck in getting a great replacement so you know your child will be safe.

I certainly hope your cousin is able to help you. It usually feels good to have family watch our kids when we cannot.

my cousin did volunteered to help but he is a guy.. i mean it is different when it is female.. but i am glad he is willing to help, he is staying at home too as my mom is the one financing his school..

I'm sorry about your predicament. I don't know what you can afford but daycare can be a temporary fix that works. I've worked in daycares and they can be a good solution as long as you like the childcare workers there. You can look on craigslist.org in your area in the childcare section and set up some interviews. Do you have any neighbors or family that could help like the cousin you mentioned? Could you ask your job to give you some sick or vacation time if you have that to find someone? I hope you find someone soon and wish you all the best.

I'm sorry that you don't have daycares in your country. I hope and pray that your mom can help you since your neighbors aren't able to help. What about your cousin? What about your friends? I wish I could help more. I pray that it'll all work out somehow. I don't know how you found your last nanny but you can find people online such as on craigslist.org as a long term solution or on care.com or sittercity.com. Hopefully your mom can be a temporary solution. Good luck and God bless.

It is really hard to find these days person who will trust you specially taking care for the kids. My daughter Ann sometimes that's her problem too but now she had to drop off her kid to his grandma (aunt of her husband) to take care of my grandson. I want to take care but I'm here at province. I hope you can find soon.

we have the same problem. my son's nanny said she cannot continue to care for my child because she's tired of caring 3 kids at a time. well i have a hard time looking for another one now. it's really hard to look for someone to trust again for the your baby's sake. anyway i hope we can both see a new replacement for our kids.

Hi jazel
Okay, would a male do? See I am quite affordable you know... Chocos and coffee with some good food and some good ambiance - peps me do my work better And when it comes to kids, I am good with them as we all end up watching those toons and toons on the tele....
Oh... i forgot... you also need to send the flight tickets, the passport and..... also the visa... and I come to you , take care of your kid(s) and also do the lunch and dinner for you all...
Or as a better solution, you can send the kid to my place and I will take care. I dont have a tele at home... just in case you want the kid not to miss the toons

i feel for you because i have experienced that also. it is hard when our parents are far away from us and we need to leave our child to a nanny. and what is hard is when they would decide to leave or go home without considering that you need to work too. but God is still good because you still have time tomorrow to find a new one.

It is so hard to find good care on such a short notice. I am glad you have at least one day of holiday to look for more help. Is it a permanent change or just for a while.

the hardest thing is when you have to work and need someone trustworthy to watch you children. i don't blame you for not wanting to put yours in day care. it seems to be a catch 22, cause you have to work. i hope you are able to find someone to watch your daughter tomorrow.

Oh tell me about it. Good help these days are truly hard to find. We had to endure months and months of help just staying with us for weeks then leaving. It's not because the work here is tough, well they just wanted free fare and lodging for a while because they wanted to go to the city and their parents wouldn't allow them to come here if they didn't have jobs.
Well...
It's worst too if you have kids because just like that they'd decide to leave and you have a job, so what goes? whew!
Hope you'll find a replacement soon. Remember, it's all bout the money anyways.
Have a great Mylot experience ahead!

You can bring them here I am more than willing to take care of them
See,I just finished dog-sitting,
so, baby-sitting is not bad,
I men....kids-sitting
I am just kidding my dear- just want to make you smile at least.
I know it's not easy to look for someone to look after our small kiddies.
We cannot just hire anyone we didn't know.
It is our kids that we're entrusting -so, we need someone whom we know and can give us peace of mind that our kids are safe while we are not at home.
I hope you can find one soon

Try contacting all your relatives that doesn't have anything to do this summer to take care of your kids while you still can't find any replacement for your nanny. Our relatives are the ones we can really trust with regards to taking care of our kids. It is really so hard these days to look for persons we don't know who we can leave our kids to and be sure we they are really taken cared well.
