I am up every day at 5 in the morning and the first thing I do after having my tea is to switch on my pc and get geared up to participate here in myLot. This is my routine on most days. I was wondering where you guys are at that time. Some of you may be at work, some sleeping, some studying........... Where can I find you at 5 in the morning Indian time?

Hello allknowing, I'm still having my deepest dream and snoring that time while you are having your tea. Its 12:30 in the midnight. Enjoy your tea.

This time zone factor does have an effect on our participation specially when one wants a continuous flow of comments and how can one achieve that if people are snoring at that time!

That's exactly what I am saying when you most want someone to join in that one will snore away with heaven knows what dreams!

I think Indian time is not too different from Philippine time. So at 5AM your time, I'd still be on my last couple hours of dreamland. Then, at around 7AM, I'd turn on my laptop to check responses and quickly comment back, if any. Then, I'd prepare breakfast before I go back to myLot at around 8AM.

But you do not log on to myLot at that time. Do you?

I think you are two and a half hours ahead of India. If you are still sleeping then you will be getting up at what time? You love your sleep it appears. To each their own I guess. I love sleep too as I go to sleep early - around 9. "Early to bed, early to rise makes the man healthy, wealthy and wise"!

I get up at 7 or 8AM my time, so if I'm 2.5 hours ahead, that's 4:30 to 5:30am, your time. Then that means we get up at the same time.

Hi Allknowing I will be in bed at that time.there is no doubt about it.I cannot get up early and I normally wake up after 6.30 before 7 o clock. I too need my morning tea before anything else and after that my routine work starts.I switch on the computer at about nine0clock if I don't have any specific work.THen after a while , I peep into mylot but do not do any active work then.Only in the afternoon or so I write a few responses.

Oh! That is the secret[though I cannot implement it because I am very active when you are snoring away at 9p.m at night.I go to bed not before 11oclock and sometimes it can go beyond that easily.

I am an exception kala as most do get up, your time. But I sleep early. I love my mornings and I can do a lot of work during these hours. After 5 in the evening I dont even want visitors. I hit the pillow by 9. So at this moment you are snoring away!

You are the third person that would keep me company banging away on the keyboard! California is twelve hours behind India. Its evening for you. I have friends and relatives that part of America. In fact I have several scattered all over America and Canada too!

We are ahead of 2 and a half hours- so by that time I am either still sleeping (hehehehe) Or, if by chance I woke up early- I am either preparing kids meal or in the market still buying foods. I am a late sleeper, but during school days, I wake up early. Now- it's still summer, so let me sleep a bit longer -hehehee :p

I understand that. Once one gets to work on shifts adjusting to normal timings really becomes an effort.

If you are a late sleeper which means at 5 my time it would be 7 yours you would still be sleeping. Some beautiful precious hours all wasted!.

At 5 am in the morning ,Indian time I would probably be in my bed because it would be about 2:30 in morning.I actually learned that chatting with one of my friends here who is from India :) . If it's the weekend I might even be going to bed at the same time you are waking up...When I think about it this way it really feels strange to me and that's probably the reason time zone differences have always confused me...

That's what a real friend of mine from the UK who is with me in another forum does sometimes. When I was posting there at 5 a.m. she was still awake and had yet to get to bed. I would be confused whether to wish here good night or good morning!

I checked a world time zone map to see for sure where you are. It looks as if you are ten to eleven hours ahead of me. So at 5 in the morning your time, I am at the previous day, and probably eating a meal with my husband and son.

And as soon as the dishes are done up, I am right back online. That is why I often see you in what I consider to be my evening. At 7 in the morning my time I will frequently head to the porch with a cup of coffee and my laptop. That would be just a bit before you head to bed.

You are right. America has its own time zones. New York and the surrounding areas are ten and half hours behind India, and California is twelve hours behind, which shifts by an hour in winter I am told. And that applies to all zones in America and Canada. I remember once when my niece and I were in Canada on holiday (just for 2 days) she took me on sight seeing and only realised when we reached the spot that we were early by one hour. Everything was closed! Now when I am at the pc at 5 in the morning I can visualise you and your beloved hogging away at the table!

I sleep early but do work on my pc throughout the day as and when I find time. I am so addicted that I wonder what I would do without it. When I have guests I am really lost as I have to spend time with them and for them!

I think we are 2 and a half hours ahead of your time, by 5am your time, I will still be at my bed sleeping. I usually sleep late because we still take with my bf who is in London right now and has a 7 hours time difference. So I also wake up late like around 9 or 10 in the morning. So yes, I am still sleeping by the time you are busy with mylot.

You are the second filipino who talks about sleeping late. Now let me calculate. It will be around 7.30 in the morning for you when poor me is busy banging on my keyboard! And if you say you get up around 9 your time then I dont think I will ever bump into you at that time of my precious hours.

The grandeur of myLot is that it waits patiently with open arms for users to come as and when it suits them but I was curious to know how many would be there at their pc.s banging away at that part of my morning.

We won't really bump into each other if you go online that early in your time . I was wide awake and was the one banging at my keyboard when you were still soundly asleep. It was good we crashed into each other this time, I believe it's already around 1pm your time or something. I work PM shift here so I am online from now until around 8 hours from now.. So, see you around

Hi Fortunately after many days, I wake up at 5:30 am today. And went for exercising. And after it I felt sleep again and wake up 8:30 in the morning.. I get the bad habit of sleeping late in the morning. So no mylotting in that early session. But I am trying to wake up early so it may possible in next few many days.

Are you on the same time zone as Punjab India because I did a calculation and it said at 5 am it is 7.30 pm where I am. Where did the half hour go? Anyway, at that time I am usually not on the computer in the evenings. Like yourself I like using my computer in the mornings and sometimes in the afternoon. When you are online it is after supper for me and I am involved with an evening activity.

When I checked the world clock earlier I noticed the half hour missing in some places as well, Bluedoll. I never learned that in school and I am not quite sure what to make of it.

Ok, I am not at my computer at this time usually. But I could be, I mean it is not a rule or anything. Like you I do the computer thing in the morning with a cup of tea. But now it is 1:33pm and here I am typing this. It varies you know. Sometimes in the morning I like doing others things and get to the computer later. Of course I need to wash, comb my hair and such before I get on the computer. There was a time I was not on the computer at all because I was doing other things but happy to say that I'm on mylot again and enjoy discussions again. So why do you want to know what other users are busy doing? Was there a specific reason. I guess I could be on mylot at that time because it isn't very late. I go to bed early seeing that I am up so early but 7:30 is reasonably early. Don't you agree. Do you only particpate at 5 am. I notice every person does mylot a little differently. Well that is reasonable because everyone is different and can use it in any way they please. Don't you agree? Nice topic. When are users busy. Interesting. Well nice to know.

HOW do you manage to get up at 5 in the morning? Perhaps then you should know naturally what i would be doing! Guessed? So simple right? THE LAST TIME i woke up at that time was when i was doing my 12th grade for the biology exam! Whoops! Since then it has been Good Morn-fternoon!
