I mean I expected it to be a full movie theatre this weekend to view the avengers, but every time slot for the movie was sold out. From the early showtimes to the late, not one ticket was available.
Well from all accounts it was the blockbuster movie over the weekend, beating even Harry Potter box office record like the THE ROCK beat JOHN CENA @ wrestlemania, lol, and is still working it's magic.
Will have to wait till the hype is down to go see this movie, and from the sounds of it,it'll be worth the wait

I was given to understand that Harry Potter was still on top for openings. As it produced over 90 million its first day and the Avengers only made 81 million. That being said I have seen some bad boot leg copies online that you can stream if you want to see it before the hype is out.

The avengers $220 mil

I will wait to see it in the cinema, it will be an injustice to the movie to watch it boot leg

That's crazy, but I guess when theater prices are twice as expensive when Titanic was the top earning film its possible for that kind of numbers. I assume it is going to be good. I might have to see it in the theater as well.

You have no idea what you missed out on. Marvel's The Avengers was AWESOME! Including the two scenes at the end: one in the middle of the credits and one at the end of the credits. Oh, and it was action-packed from beginning to end. Also, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner are such hotties! I'm definitely going to see it again.

Lol, my friend luckily bought tickets WEEKS ahead of time online! :) We were very lucky to acquire them since "VIP" tickets sold like hot potatoes though we weren't going to pay an extra 10 dollars for those anyway. .either way we managed to get general admission tickets 2 weeks before the premiere for the Saturday the weekend it premiered, and it was worth it. The actors/actresses were amazing, and I just have to say one of the best movies I've seen since the last part of the Deathly Hollows. xD

I want to see this movie so bad too at the weekend, but the time wasn't good for me though. I have to work my part time job until 11:00 P.M. at night, and the last show time for that movie is 11:00 P.M. So I have to wait until probably Tuesday night to watch this movie. I want to see it so badly too.
