Over the season Man City were the best team. I think Man Utd were lucky to be even in with a shout at this stage. Having to rely on 37 yr olds is bordering on desperation, and amazingly it nearly worked. Next season it will be different.

Orson kart is talking about PAUL SCHOLES who is 37 year old
and not to forget that MANCHESTER UNITED is also depended on RYAN GIGGS who is 38 years old !

mahirali14 is right. You cannot expect to win titles with old men!
Ferguson is also too old to be manager and will go out like Bobby Robson did if he tries to continue. He is now living on past glories and also doesn't have the money to compete with City now. I see City winning again next year and beyond unless another team gets a massive backer.

It was an epic match. I was hoping for QPR to cause a big upset to Man City. If they weren't 10 man down, they could have stood a better chance in defending their lead. Two goals in stoppage time, how disappointing of QPR to let in two goals!

Of course, they were lucky. But they also had a lot of desire and endeavor. They never gave up even as the game moved into the injury time and kept fighting till the end. And when QPR slackened at the end knowing that they were safe, they quickly capitalized and scored the two goals that sealed the deal for them. As far as next season is concerned we will see.
Cheers!

I believe all the clubs in EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1, if they can afford, they will buy the best players. Professional football is about winning honors. A team plays well won't get you anywhere if they don't win trophies. Look at Arsenal and Liverpool, even the great Arsene Wenger and Kenny Dalglish are in danger of losing their jobs. There is nothing wrong in buying. Home grown talents are a wish that could not be depended on for its success. But if you don't have money to buy, you just have to depend on your local boys. Look at Everton, it is their imported strikers that saved their season and made it one that is better than Liverpool. David Moyes will be applauded for his buying intelligence.

It was something incredible that happened out there in stoppage time. Who would have dremt that Manchester City would fire in two goals during that time and lift the cup. I certainly did not think so. Lady luck definately rode on their side at that time and it happened. Congrats to them but for sure Manchester United will be after them next season..

I feel that if care is not taken, next season may be worse for Manchester United than this season. It's going to be counter productive for the red devils to go to next season with the mind set of seeking revenge against Manchester City. It's high time we have more drama in the EPL!

keenan_savio that's so true, lady luck was on their side, and it was luck they used in lifting the title.
@emmanola I said it before and I ll say it again, I don't see mancity lifting that trophy again in the next 10years

You make your own luck. If you don't have the team and skill, even if when luck smiles on you, you won't be able to take the chance. The league runs for the whole season of 38 matches, they have to get their other results right to be able to take the luck when it comes. But I think Manchester City deserves to be Champions.

I am a `Manchester United fan but I didn't suppose that my team should win the title by default. It was a shame to throw away the 8 point lead. It was unacceptable to lose to Balckburn, and Wigan. It was a disaster to lose 1-6 to Manchester City by conceding too many goals. It was just unbelievable to throw a way a 2 goal lead to draw with Everton. Even when we needed to score as many goals as we could to match their goal difference in 2 matches, we managed only 3. The destiny was in our hand but we did not keep it.
We are the ex-champion now. We need to do a lot of changes for next season to stay as one of the title contenders. With their strength in depth, I am afraid Manchester City may rule the EPL for sometime if we don't take in more talents.

Manchester City were not lucky, they created their own luck! To be honest with you, I'm not a fan of the two premier league teams from the city of Manchester but I'm happy that justice has been done by the late miracle performed - the two late goals scored by Manchester City against Queens Park Rangers.
If we have to talk of luck, the team which has always benefited the most from luck, including poor decision by referees is Manchester United. I see no reason why any fan of the red devils should think that Manchester City do not deserve to be champions.
It's too early to assume that Manchester United will win the EPL next season. In fact I feel the competition will be more competitive and more exciting come next season. This is obvious this season where both Chelsea and Liverpool could not find places in the top four positions. One feels that more teams will take inspiration from not only Manchester City, but also from Newcastle United, Norwich City, Swansea and QPR to fight to finish. May the best team win!

Late miracle could also be described as luck my friend.
And nothing for them next season, not even the champions league. The only problem am having is that chelsea may wanna kill themselves come next saturday because if they don't win that match, then they won't go for the league next year , correct me if am wrong cos the last time I saw the tables it wasn't looking good for them

They just won the trophy after 44 years. And successful beat up queen park
ranger. The late goal from augero made a history for Manchester city to win
the title. It is a huge win for them after spending a lot of money for 2 to 3 years to buy players.

Hey luxlyangels... you just can not call manchester city lucky winners !
Man city have invested a lot of money provided by their RICH owner and that has made the difference. Man City is not a team that has been built on hardwork and passion rather it is simply a team built of money !
Yesterday Man city proved that they are the come back kings by fighting back from 1 goal down to win the last game of the season . I must say hats off the MARADONA's son in law SERGIO KUN AGUERO and EDIN DZEKO !
Man City will be dangerous next season also and in my personal opinio MAN city can be a threat in UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE next season !

Not all investments pay friend and they were lucky this one actually paid, it paid in a matter on seconds and if that final goal didn't come, then nothing . So that's why I said they were lucky
