Vacation, anyone?

That's a good thought. There are a lot of places you can visit in our country. I've been to a few great ones, for the past 5 years. Your choice would depend on your budget and the activities you want to do. I can talk to you about a many places, but I need to know first, how much you intend to spend and what do you expect to do.

Nope, I I don't think I will be going to have a vacation anytime soon but thanks for starting this discussion for ideas. This will be perfect for the time when I do get one. . Good luck and have fun on your vacation.

There are a lot of good places to go to the country and it would really depend on how much you are willing to spend, sa for example, your preference of where you will stay, what you like to do, and so on. Our country does have places for everything you want to do, actually. There is the boracay beach if you love to have a nice day on the beach front, enjoy the white sand, enjoy the warm sun, and have drinks and dance away all night. But with this you have to ride a plane and about 2 hours of van if you are coming from Aklan. Our budget when we went to boracay was about 6thousand pesos (2 days and 2 nights) 2 years ago... There is the Zambales beach when you just want to relax, there are a lot of good camping sites here too, There is the potipot island, and the anawangin cove. if you have a tent you will only spend 3k for food and transportation for a 3 days stay by the beach - this one there is no water on the island.. hehe just a poso where you have to get water for yourself. If you love to go hiking, then you might want to try pinatubo mountain trekking. It is a bit pricey and this is very tiring. you and your pals need to rent a 4x4 car to bring up near the mountain top but there is still about 2 hours of walking uphill. But... when you go to the mountain top and see the pinatubo from up there... wow it is really very breathtaking. Hmm... what else? Oh you might also want to go to Palawan! This place is really wonderful. I have been to Coron with my friends though i sort of cashed out about 8thousand pesos on this trip.. it was worth it. 3 days here is not enough you need to stay about a week to enjoy the best of places here. We dropped by a lot of islands here and went for a swim in the Kayangan lake, which is by the way the cleanest lake in asia! =) Short drive trips would be great too, we have hotsprings in laguna, some really good beaches up north in bataan (facing the south china sea). further up north is the pagudpod in ilocos where you can also drop by vigan on your way there... And the list continues!!! he he hope you find some good places to go and enjoy them! =)

the best time to have a vacation in Philippines is during peak seasons. I have gone to Davao City it's really fun to be there. There's a lot of affordable and clean white sand beaches, beautiful parks, etc. This August will be their Kadayawan Festival again and hundreds of tourists from all over the world would come to join the festival.

Hi chymez! Don't forget to come to Legazpi. You can visit the beautiful Mayon Volcano in Albay and the place of Whale Shark Capital in Donsol, Sorsogon.

There's so many fun activities in Bohol and you can hire a van there, should be good if you go there in groups so you can divide the cost of the van or the place you will be staying as well as the food. The beach is also nice in Panglao, so fine and white. I love it there and I really wish to go back as soon as I have the money and time.
