Richer and Poorer

Well, earning money is harder and harder nowadays...so that many rich people can be richer and many poor people could be poorer... I am the poor i think, i have no land, no house, no valuable thing...but i feel ok because i work hard to earn money everyday and i live by myself, i am happy with it. I will do hard...to become the rich some day...but it will be hard... Have a nice day to you too!!!

Exactly! There are so many people who become rich instantly but don't handle it well. They're wasting an opportunity to somewhat lift their status in life to be better. Well we can't do anything with those people but have them learn from their mistakes. Also, there are indeed so many people who still has a big heart that even if they are not rich, but still share their blessing to others.

I really agree with you on this. :D I mean people don't know what they have and waste time on other less important things. And winning millions? only to lose them for what? for a moment of experience! ha what are they thinkinganyway, wasting all those money for the things they did! =P

Hello Mr Knight, Sometimes people don't care things when they currently enjoying.And afterwards they finally realized they missed out something in their lives.But few people still generous to give and share their blessings to others. Yes, I heard of millionaires from lotto winnings going back to poor, or even become poorer because they didn't know how to spend their money and just wasted all of it. If i won in the lotto, i would just give it to my parents since they know how to budget it.. If only we won.

here, hopefully in Canada, the government will be taxing the rich more than they do the poor (that seems to be the plan anyways) and why not? us poor people could use a few extra pennies in our pockets.

That's the actual situation of the people in our country Letran. The rich are getting richer as they are being favored most of the time. They have all the resources for whatever business they plan to have. They have the knowledge as they were educated. They have the capitals to run businesses that instead of helping the poor gain from them instead. They are given the priorities as they can afford. The poor becomes poorer as they earn a little and yet they're not capable of having other income. Others are already earning a little but still have vices. Just like what you'd mentioned others are being given the opportunity to get richer but didn't spend their money wisely. In our country commodities costs high that the low salaried people can no longer save. In other countries however commodities especially food are cheaper that even people with blue collar jobs can afford to buy and can have savings. The farmers or tenants can't own a share of land unless they win in court, how can they improve their way of loving. The poor no longer aims to get rich but just to afford a simple living, with a house of their own, food at the table and if possible to send their children to school. Yes there are few well to do people who are generous and share their blessings, that maybe nice reason why they get richer.

dear LK, I have read about this story and also feels like "what?" wasted in less than a year :x. Well- that person says "he never regretted" which I doubt (lols) he is even in debt now...(duh). Oh well- there are still good Samaritan out there.

He is really such an idiot for doing those things. We call that a psychological effect which he is afraid to become poor and that is why, he take the opportunity to live in a pleasure and luxury life , but at least, we know what to do because of his experience.

Hi, Letran, you had this very good formulated. When I was young those who were in power in my country were speaking about equality. We knew that we weren't all equal but the idea of being poor was away from me. One day I realized that in fact I'm poor. But I don't think that this makes me worse, uglier or more stupid that others. As far as the richer people are concerned, I don't envy them. And I think also that some of them are good people. They have more and therefore can be more generous.

That's the person who won the Philippine Lottery, isn't it? I remember how he stupidly wasted his money on different things other than a solid and reliable future. He still spends money on the lottery everyday hoping he would win again. I regret how some people can totally disregard the value of money. I guess I'm on the position where I'm not poor but I am also not yet financially independent.

The rich ones is getting more rich and the poor is turning out to be poorer. This is the condition of the people in our society. I didn't ever won a lottery in my life because i don't take them. I always goes for the money which is created by myself from my hard efforts and i used to use it for my family and save them.

it's just the way the system is build, not everyone can't be winners, someone else has to loose if u want to win, and that's what it is. i don't think this will ever change, cause no matter what happens down here, they will always find a way to keep the things like that, for example the internet, movie giants and music managers complaining cause they're losing money to it, but they are still richer than me.. it's sad
