Just thinking, because a lot of people already lost their phones.( Blackberry, Iphone 4 or 4s) I guess some people could be jealous that it tempts them to steal other people's phone for them to own one, since they wont be able to afford for themselves.

I might be envious not jealous and it's natural. Envy as may other regard it as one of the seven capital sins can also be resulted into positive things. As we tend to work hard if we want something to have or somehow inspire us, if they can have it why not ours? It's just so sad that others drive them in a very bad way.

It was imprinted on my mind if not today, someday I can have the things what my playmates possess for I envy them for getting what they want. Imagine I can't even buy a chocolate nor biscuits then. I even stopped schooling in prep due to financial matters. But then I strive hard and pursue my studies in public shcool. In God's help I finished my course and got a job abroad.

I feel nothing at all, besides it depend how useful it could for me those expensive phones. If its really useful then why not have one for myself. But getting jealous on someone having an expensive gadgets or accessories is out of my mind.
If someone have that kind of feelings he/she should work harder to have it too.And not to think over some bad ideas on others belongings.
Happy mylotting!

My friends own high fashioned phones and i used to lend from them for my uses. I dream to buy such phones but i cannot do them because i am not so rich as my friends. I just pray to god to have such phones but i never steal the phones from any one.

No, i dont get jealous and never to tempts to steal other phones. I am happy for what I had and for what can I afford to buy. Simple phone is enough for me as long as I can send text and use it to make calls.

A cellphone does not bring out feelings of jealousy in me. Like a lot of people, I find cellphones to be quite convenient to use; and they have amazing capabilities. I can't always afford the latest cellphone; but I can always get a good one somehow or another. I really don't make a cellphone an object of status. I love land line phones, they will never be obsolete for me. I would prefer a unique, interesting land line phone to the most top of the line cellphone any day.

Stealing is obviously wrong but i do get a bit jealous when I see people with cool smartphone . I feel even more frustrated when i see people who use their top model smart phones just for making calls when there are thousand more things I could have if I had that phone rather than them . I mean to say that I don't like it when a phone is under utilized . I do have a decent feature phone but that can never equal a smartphone . I get damn jealous when i see a person who had the best smartphone but uses it only for show off rather then using is features fully .

You would only get jealous if you are thirteen or fourteen. Why would someone feel jealous over that? People my age are not interested in all those new fandangled technological items out there. We need a phone to talk, and yes, it is nice to be able to write an SMS, but other than an emergency situation it is not necessary for everyone to have high end phones.

Jealousy doesnt have any age range, a person could be 14, 20, 30, 40 or 50's, and still be jealous of someone's items. Some may show jealousy by " competing" with others like also buying what their friends has, but it has got to be more of high end quality than what their friends own. While some steals it,sells it etc. lots of ways. Its good if a person is not someone who envies people.

Jealousy is a useless emotion, especially if it is over material things. If someone goes on and about my jacket and wish they had one like it, I just give the jacket away. I am not wrapped up in money and possessions, and often when I do something like this something good happens during the day. For instance I was really broke some weeks ago and gave a friend a few of my favorite cds because she liked the music so much. The next day one of my readers phoned me and ordered 25 books for the class she was teaching. That's how it is. Don't waste your time on trying to figure out jealousy.

I do not really get jealous of these people who can buy good stuffs, it is their money.. sometimes i just think that i will be able to do so myself soon enough... and i am counting the days. :D I am more jealous of people who can afford to travel the world and i can't! =(

I don't know if it is jealously that is making people steal the phones or a fact that they just want the money from the phones. I mean if they steal the phone, how exactly will they get it transferred to their name? Of course I am not savvy to the in's and out's of being a thief... I guess everything is possible.

What other people use as far as a phone is concerned, really doesn't bother me, as it is their business anyway. I do have a high end phone now too, and will have it for awhile, as they are way to expensive to replace every few months. Mine is a galaxy s2, and the phone I have been waiting to use for quite some time now, and now that I am, I intend to keep it. It does everything I want it to, and then some, so why change? Have a very good day, and happy mylotting.

I envy those who can really afford phones that are the latest one out in the market, but it never came in my mind to steal the phones of those people nor steal money just to buy one. I may not have the best phones in the world, but my mind, heart, conscience and hands are clean from stealing. My phones are old but they have significant value to me. I can't even remember when was the last time I bought a phone for myself. My phones are all given to me . I use them for business anyway and the other phone is sometimes use to say hi to friends but it rarely happens.

I don't get jealous of others because of the things they own. I have a very basic flip phone, and I couldn't be happier with it. My provider gave it to me for free when I renewed my contract for another two years, and because I share a plan with my family I only pay $15 a month for service.
Smart phones are nice but I think it's silly to spend hundreds of dollars upfront on a phone and then have to pay more every month for a data plan just to use it. I briefly considered getting a smart phone but when I did the math and realized that I would be paying nearly $1,000 more during the two-year contract period it didn't seem like a very good idea after all.

Blackberry phone is booming here in my country but im not interested to have one because Im satisfied with my cellphones. I dont think it is necessary to have a latest high end cellphone, i use my cellphones just for text message and phone call, I do browse internet from my cellphones sometime and I dont need a latest high end phone to do those activities. I know so many people fancy blackberry cellphone, they own the phone but they only use it to chat on BBM (blackberry messenger) i think that is a waste because the monthly fee is expensive. I dont like chatting on instant messenger and whenever my friends ask my pin number I said no I dont have blackberry, even if I have a blackberry Im sure I would not use the BBM feature. I do not envy those who have latest cellphone, I fancy other things so I will not force myself to buy latest gadget because I would rather spend my money to buy other things.
Many people steal cellphone because so many reasons, it could be because they want latest gadget but cannot afford it or because they need money badly.
