Going to graduation

My adopted grandson is graduating high school tomorrow night. I'm going. I'm so thrilled to see my baby graduate. He is like a full grown man now. I remember having him read for me and do his math. I was his nanny from the 2nd grade on up until I moved. I feel bad that I don't have a graduation gift for him. I will get him a gift card when I get paid again. His mom is thrilled me, my daughter and her hubby are coming to see him graduate. Do you have any kids or grand kids graduating this month?

Hi pointless Q. I think we are of the same country with edison. Yes we have different school than yours. Our school started on June and will finish on March just right before the hot season here (summer).

They re all growing up so fast. The youngest is 12 now. I was there when she was born. She is going to acting school this summer. She wants to be a model and actress when she grows up. Kacey, the one graduating is going to college to become a state trooper in the fall.

That's so cool. I'm sure he'll be glad to see you even if you don't have any money to give him.

Hi PointlessQuestions, My sons finished school many years ago and my two granddaughters are still young, so I have no one graduating this year. Congratulations on your adopted grandson's graduation and I hope that he does well in life. What are his plans? Is he considering college? Blessings.

Hi PQ, Congratulations to your grandson. My stepsister is graduating from high school this month. Have a great time at his graduation. Graduations are a special milestone because they are the end of one chapter in life and the exciting beginning of another.

I'm going to bring plenty of tissues for sure. It's happy yet emotional to see him all grown up getting his diploma.

I don't have kids or grand kids to graduate. i am too young for that. however, I think it doesn't matter if you have gifts or dont, because when i graduated what i really want to have someone out there to share my glory. I guess it is still better to have a parent downstairs as I get down from the stage, compared to having plenty of gifts waiting home.

No, I don't It has been ages since I have. My great niece got her credits all completed but I am thinking she is not walking. She has been going to an alternative education center. She ran away from home about four weeks before school was out last year, when she should have graduated.

its great that he is graduating, it sounds like you are very proud of him and his achomplishments.. i hope he will continue his education after high school as i would have wished the same thing for my own kids, my daughter will be a sophmore in high school next year she still has 2 more years to go, i feel strongly she will continue her education after high school and make something for herself and not follow in her big sisters foot steps.. i have high hopes for her and im already proud of her .. she is very smart and the top of her class as well :)

It is really fulfilling for a parents to see their kids or grandkids graduating even in a pre-school. Giving him a gift card even not on the graduation day will be fine. Being his nanny for the long time (almost half of his life) will be a great gift to him. I had my sister graduated college last April. She had took her college for almost 8 years. She became pregnant and married when she was supposed to be 3rd year. She stopped for a year because of her delicate pregnancy. Upon returning, the course she took changed the curriculum program for her course so she has to return to 2nd year. After all the struggles she graduated and now gets a job. By the way, her daugther also graduated in a pre-school last March. Good day and again Congatulations to your grandson!

My son graduated today! He got a degree in sociology from the University of New Brunswick. Unfortunately, I live in Ontario and was unable to make it to the graduation ceremonies. But I am one proud mama! Congrats to your grandson!
