This girl was hanging out with our little group, shes my sisters new friend. We were talking about money and what we would do with a certain amount of money.
Then out of the blue she made the statement that she would do anything for money if the price was right. She said she was asked by a guy to poop on him if he gave her $5000 and she said she did it! Gross!
I would not do something like that for any amount of money. Would you?
What are things you would not do even if someone paid you one million dollars?
Hahaha, this could be a great discussion so you dont have to be 100% serious!

I would not murder someone for a million dollars. I would not be intimate with another man, and I wouldn't sacrifice any of my loved ones for that kind of money.

I just can't wrap myself around the idea of being with another man. I enjoy the company of woman way too much, but if I was a woman it might be easier for me to be with another woman. LOL.

I'm always serious when it comes to money. There is nothing I will do for 1,000,000 dollars. The price is too low! My price, back in the 80's , was 10,000,000. Now , with inflation it is 20,000,000 And even then there are things I won't do. See I won't do anything that will stay with me After I do it. The money is not worth it if I have nightmares over it for years to come!

I agree to that. Although I´m aware that noone would pay the amount I have setted to this ol´ witch. It´s just a polite way of saying "no".

I don't think that girl did do those things. First of all, you don't know the girl truly, she's just a friend of a sister. Further, it might just be in order to get the attention that's why she said such a thing.
Anyhow if it's true, then that's her story, but regardless what happens, she wouldn't find respect if she keeps on spreading those rumors.
As for me, I think it depends on the circumstance. If the need for money is great - because of sickness of a family member, etc. Then perhaps I would reconsider. However, if the task is something that would obviously stain my name or my character. Or even cause great problems in the future (unwanted pregnancy, humiliation of the name, etc.) then I don't think I could ever do it.
You can never justify a wrong with another wrong.
Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

I dont know if she did or did not. She could have made it up which is still gross but I dont know why anyone would want that kind of attention. We all just looked at each other like is she serious? Lol. Then the subject was changed.
I agree, I would not want to do anything that I would be ashamed of later on in life.

I don't think that money is the most important thing in the world, so therefore I think that there are a lot of things that I wouldn't do. However, I think that sometimes the amount of money that you would be given would be worth the few moments of discomfort that you would have to experience for being able to get that amount of cash. I am not sure whether I would have the same attitude if I was actually placed in that situation, but at the moment I think that I would probably do almost anything for a million dollars!

I agree that moneys not the most important thing in the world. Some things are worth the money though.
A million dollars could definitely change my life and my childrens lives! I would do some crazy things for that amount of money but nothing that would get me in trouble...

I think I could agree, to a point. With every fiber of my being I know there are a few things I would not do, but a bit of embarresment never hurt anyone, and usually makes you a bit stronger for it. Like my experince in mascot costumes, it embarressed me to no end, at the time but now I don't really mind it, which helps when doing public speaking or when dealing with strangers.

My sister once licked the bottom of her foot for 20 dollars. I'm kind of a germophobe so I don't think I would do anything gross or unsanitary for money... Have you seen Money From Strangers on MTV? I would definitely participate in that! Looks hilarious!

Ew, lol. I would do that but it would be a lot more than $20! Lol. I hate feet, their gross. Glad I have them to walk on but they are nasty.
I have not seen that show yet.

SOunds like truth or dare with money added. I would not do anything totally degrading or that hurt another person or animal. Nothing gross. One million dollars is alot of money and I could sure use it but not at the risk of hurting someone or something and nothing gross.

Well I was raised in a strict family with traditional values, and I was taught that money isn't everything, sure I'd love to have $5,000 or more who wouldn't want $5,000 dollars?
Times are very difficult for a lot of people myself included, but I must say at the risk of coming across like a judgemental snot haha, I would Never and could Never degrade myself or do anything that I would feel bad for just to get money I meaning no disrespect to anyone but money isn't worth it if I have to obtain the money through shameful means.

I have been through a lot of hardships as well, and a lot of my hardships are largely due to lack of money so I completely understand what your saying money can make life much easier and yeah I wish had more of it to live with less stress, because I could tell you some true stories that you wouldn't believe regurding hardships lol
Sometimes it's difficult to take the moral or high road but after it's all said and done at least I can look at myself in the mirror and be proud of my actions and that includes my family and little niece they can be proud of me also
Yes there are things I would do for money like go on a game show, even walk dogs or go bungee jumping even cleaning toilets but nothing beyond what I would feel comfortable doing I'm just not wired that way.

I was raised the same way. Growing up though has changed my thoughts a little. My life has been miserable with not enough money for food, clothes, cable or anything really. Things people have and take advantage of every day we dont have.
So while money is not everything it sure could make my life and my kids lives a heck of a lot better.
Would I poop on someone, no. But there are things I would do for money.

I wonder if she was the kind of girl that had those $5000 in her pocket. Some people will say any stupid thing thinking it´s cool. If she did it, I´d say it´s so gross that I would not want to hang around with her. There´s a long list of things I would not do for any money. I was disgusted, years ago, by the movie "An indecent proposal" even if Robert Redford is quite handsome, even now.

If she said it to be cool shes more stupid and immature than I gave her credit for! For one were past the age of "looking cool" and for two we all thought she was crazy and gross.
I never saw that movie but so many people have mentioned it here that I think I will watch it.

well, I really don't know, it is a lot of money and with this money we can do a lot of things, but we have some thoughts that can not be passed by.
I hear a lot of people saying that they could do anything for this amount of money, and they could repair the wrong things they did with this money, I believe that we can not buy happiness, and if you do something wrong to get this money, you will be far from be happy because you will always remember the things you did.
thanks for the discussion!

Money cannot buy happiness, I agree but it sure could help. No one would be happy with a lot of money if they felt guilty all the time...I agree there too.

How gross! but I understand why she did it, maybe she was in dire need at the time and was thinking that pooping on her is not a big deal since it can be cleaned up later. but hahaa that was really something I wouldn't do for money and anything that would involve my morals in life. I wouldn't do it for a work that would steal most of my valuable times that I should spend to my love ones.

Well of course the obvious ones: cheat on my hubby, kill ANYTHING, or risk my integrity. Money just isn't worth it. Pooping on some one makes my inner retard puke in her mouth, ugggg or any bodily funtion for that matter. *gross gag gross* I also, for any ammount of money lie with poisonus snakes or spiders, or anything else that could bite me!
I would, however, be a walking billboard, skydive, climb extreme mountains or bungee jump, swim with sharks. But the price has gotta be right!
I have been a spokes women for a local person whom was running for mayor, they ended up pulling out but they paid me well for giving impromtu speechs and warming up the crowds at debates and things. It was really fun actually. I've also been Lady Liberty for Liberty Tax Service, and once I wore the chic-fil-a cow costume for two weeks, they paid in cash lol.

Theres definitely more things I would not do rather than would do.

I would not be crazy or desperate enough to do something just for money! This disscussion does remind me of the Demi moore/Woody Harrelson movie "Indecent Prosposal".In The movie where a wealthy millionaire, played by Robert Redford, gives this young married couple a million dollars after he asks the wife to sleep with him, which she does! I am sure alot of people would do this but I am crazy but not insane! I would totally regret doing something like this!

Ugh! I can't shake off the mental image!
I once accepted a menial job in the boatyards. It was hard for me to swallow, being a university graduate. But I was really down that time and I really needed money.
I would have done anything to make sure my kids had something to eat.
I think I would never intentionally hurt somebody even if I was paid a million dollars.

I wonder how do people just give importance to those papers than for their dignity. Money is not everything. It is just a part in our life. Many things in our life can't be brought by money. What she said as she did is disgusting. But bitterly many people out in this world present to do any disgusting, harmful work for the money. Good example we can learn from politicians.
I wont do many things for money. Even I could give my service free of money.

What a great question!
There are people who will do just about anything if the price is right. It saddens me to think of some of the ways others have made money.
Let's see...I would never change who I am for any amount of money. Just like Phillip Phillips on American Idol for example. He stayed true to his own style and morals and he won! Who doesn't agree that being who you are is more important than being who others want you and expect you to be?
I would never go against my own beliefs for any amount of money.
I would never harm, insult or betray anyone for money.
I would never sell my soul for money.
I would never put my daughter in pagents for money.
I would never be a republican for money...haha!
There is so much more I could add to this...and I probably will stop back by to comment again later today! Thanks for asking this question and starting this discussion! It's a great topic!

Thank you! She just brought it into my mind when I was sitting there shocked by her, I thought to myself this would be a great discussion on MyLot! LOL. I was right. =)
Yes that is true. Some people will do nasty things for money apparently. It's terrible. I agree with you. I would never change myself for anything in the world. I like who I am.
Okay I agree with most of those except I am a Republican. Lol.
Thank you, I thought there would be so many who had things they could think of that they would never do for money.
