...halu adhyz82.. as long as we live, we all have the right to choose and have our own way in exploring our selves, in different ways...and that's all i can understand to what lady gaga she is. but as long as every country had rules and regulation to be followed and obeyed in laws,we should respect as a citizen in our own countries.we should respect each other.specially we should respect and careful using the name of our ALMIGHTY GOD. and to the teenagers, these will be served as a mirror..think for the disadvantages and advantages then pick up for the right one. nice day ahead

Indonesia is a strict country due to the islamic rules and laws over there. It has cancelled more than just one concert from Lady gaga. The same applies for Beyonce, Mcariah carey, Avril, when they tried to hold their concert there. Authorities told them to tone down on their performance or they would face a ban. If i'm not wrong, back then, pussycat dolls are not allowed to perform in indonesia due to their provocative style of dressing.

I find that to be very sad. I could not imagine a world where I could not be able to see a concert from someone I like. Don't you feel cheated? I would.

Many dangdut performances, not up to the media. Thus, was never discussed. Meanwhile, lady gaga, the world's most famous artists. Thus, a concert in Indonesia to be a problem. What I question. Why is promotion, and ticket sales, carried out before permission.

I see nothing wrong with Lady GaGa. To me she is this generations Madonna. She is an entertainer and an musician. I like her music and I have seen one of her concerts on TV and I thought it was pretty cool. I do not think she will have or has a negative effect on the younger people. People have to calm down about this kind of stuff. They did the same thing years ago when Madonna was popular. They said that she was a bad influence. It s all bull.

Why is that? Maybe you could explain why your culture has a hard time with things like Lady GaGa. I am curious. I guess on my end it just does not make any sense.

Lady Gaga - Lady Gaga is a popular singer
In this age of internet, information is freely flowing around. it is impossible to stop or block it - even if a site is banned, it is still accessible as there are means to overcome it. Likewise, what is good or bad, should be a matter to decide by individuals. To ban a pop concert will only make the singer more popular. In the first place, why allowed the application? If there was no approval then now there is no need to cancel. The authorities can stipulate some guidelines for any singer to follow when they are on stage. It is unwise to cancel one when it has been approved in the first place. It will only attract more attention to what they think 'bad elements'. Have they ever asked themselves why a 'bad' singer is liked? A concert is a commercial event. If there is no one willing to buy the tickets, the show won't go ahead. To change people's mindset, education must be strengthened to get the message across. at the end of the day, the decision have to be made by the individuals. It can not be made by a big brother styled 'authority'. It will never work that way/

yeah..it is the simple and easier trick from celebrity in my country.. they use the media for increasing their popularity sometimes they use it even only a hoax picture or s*x scandal..they only need their get back their popularity but i don`t think that lady gaga need the cheaper and dirty way like that..she is still famous even did not do the dirty trick like that...

Lady Gaga arrived in our country amidst religious rallies asking for a banning of the concert. All this controversies and furor over Lady Gaga is increasing her fame. It makes one intrigued why her kind of music is creating all these banning and religious rallies. There are many things happening all around us that have a more direct influence on the youth and not the music of Lady Gaga. The religious organizations say that Lady Gaga symbolizes everything that is immoral and demonic. After a two-hour concert, does it mean that the youth will turn blasphemous and immoral? It's about time that we look into our our own immediate environment that has been affecting the youth and not on some concert of an artist who just wants to be different from the usual.

Will "worst situation" be happened after the concert? Is it for Lady Gaga concert only or for all the concerts? How do we know what will happen after a concert?

Hi adhyz: Of course not, I think that Stefani Germanotta better known as Lady Gaga is just a singer that likes scandals and do crazy things to get people attention. I think she has some good songs but I don't like that she is always making bizarre things to gain people attention. She is more famous for the infamious things she does rather for her singing skills. She is not the antichrist I think she just want to sell no matter what the cost. ALVARO

It is personal decision whether to watch Lady Gaga's concert or not. But when we seriously watch her music video " Judas" and hear the lyrics of this song which they said mocks Jesus Christ and promote Judas as protagonist, it is evidently a violation of faith of Roman Catholic people, and we cannot stop church people ( priest etc.) to do their job to comment on this and protect the interest of the people ( especially those roman catholic). But giving her a benefit of the doubt, we cannot judge her or jump into conclusion that she is satan adorer or anti Christ just because of that song. Lady Gaga herself is fantastic but her song " Judas" is not.

Yeah, I am Filipino and Philippines is my country. Not necessarily apologize to catholic community, thinking that she had no intention to offend other's faith. It would be fair maybe.. push through the concert but she must take into consideration the culture in the Philippines. It could be better if she did not include "Judas song" to her concert to show respect to Roman Catholic people.

The world will go on without Lady Gaga. There was time when Madonna too surprised audiences with her performances, but that is a phase all those artists go through. Next thing you know Lady Gaga will go virginal too. They are entertainers. Their existence depend on their audiences. And they both are and were very entertaining. I far prefer Lady Gaga and Amy Winehouse's music to Madonna's.

I like the music of Amy Winehouse as she has a beautiful voice and knows how to jazz it up. Her voice was beyond her years. That she was troubled added to her mystique. And believe it or not, to be fair, Lady Gaga also has a voice. Madonna can sing bubble gum music where she has many things happening on the stage so you don't doze off with her singing. Pardon. She can't sing. She can perform. If people do all this writing about Lady Gaga, you are adding to her fame.

if you try to listen to Lady Gaga's songs, it do not praise God. Some may interpret the songs as bad influence. If Indonesian community finally banned Lady Gaga's concert, it will just accumulate a minimal amount of the total number of lady gaga's fans. it she is that famous, she may not think of it as a big deal.
