I use water as part of water therapy. I drink lots of water right from the morning when I drink about 1.5 to 2 liters of water first thing in the morning and by the end of the day my water intake is almost 5-6 liters. You see we are living in a comparatively hot country where we drink more water than countries where weather is not this hot as ours. But people drink lesser water, which creates many problems for them including urinary and kidney related diseases. Water is one of the best anti-toxin as it cleans out all the impurities from your system those take place their along with the eatables we consume during the day. Therefore, consuming more water flush out these impurities out of our system and helps us keeping away from the risk of calculi in our kidneys. As for weight is concerned, drinking enough water every day keeps your belly full to some extent and making you feel lesser hungry, that keeps you away from eating you more and thus you save on putting extra weight. That is one good way of keeping fit and fine.

It makes sense that we have to consume more water nowadays because of the intense heat made by climate change.I think that water can maintain your body weight and of course your regular intakes of nutritional foods does make you healthy. My problem is with my bulging tummy that I could not make it flat even if I do the bending and walking for a 2 miles back and forth. Can you give me any hints how to make it flat?

Drinking water is crucial for helping maintaining your weight. Though it is not the only factor, it does a part in it. When you are drinking a lot of water you are allowing your body to function at its most efficient state. Being thirsty or dehydrated will cause your body to store all of its energy, via fat deposits. This is like a survival mode for your body. You don't want your body in this mode, so maintaining hydration is important.

hello djlesgm! water is just water and it is in liquid form so, most of the time we just urinate it...all fluids we are taking can be removed by urinating. so your gym instructor might really say something right that you have to drink water to maintain weight. Actually, i don't have idea on this...really clueless!

Drinking water when dieting is really beneficial. However drinking water alone will not help lose or maintain weight. When you start dieting your first weight loss is largely due to loss of water, therefore you need to drink an adequate amount of water in order to avoid dehydration. Also water is needed to burn off calories as dehydration slows down the fat-burning process. Also water helps to maintain muscle tone and good hydration can you to help reduce muscle and joint soreness when you are exercising. Also a good weight loss diet includes a lot of fibre, and if you don't drink enough water it can cause constipation instead of helping to eliminate it. And one of the main benefits of drinking water with a meal is that it will make you feel full sooner and so you eat less. But drinking water will not help weight loss our bodies need bulk, calories and nutrients.
