Do you like to take part in contest? like beauty contest?Four days ago ,I take part in women beauty contest in China Tuiar ,I feel so happy, for it reminds me of school life , There are so many beautiful girls and women ,we are vigourous ,charming ,warm hearted ,and friendly to each other.
The judges is so sincerely, they gave us confidence ,give us happiness.They even more beautiful.
Of course there are the organizer is humorous,and good master.
The audience is warm hearted, for they ,we are have friends.
Do you feel happy ,I like these kind of contest,they let me feel happy to with others ,for I am housewife ,the group is small.

NO I don't take part in them or like them for that matter. To me they teach young girls and young women that only good looks get them far in life and what they want instead of you inner beauty the person you really are. The outside is just a shell the inside is what really matters. I don't need a contest to tell me I'm pretty or that i look good. I look at my husband and I listen to him and he tell me and makes me feel like I am the most beautiful person in the world. Beauty is only skin deep.

I haven't watched the beauty contest for a long time. I am not so interested in it since I wonder whether this kind of contest is fair or not. I am not interested in this show.

No I do not. What some people call beauty I don't call beauty. Also if you join a contest you should be yourself, without make up, stupid way of standing/walking. A real beauty is always beautiful not just during a show or contest or on a catwalk. Also beauty is there in all ages, sizes, shapes. I can hardly find that back in these contest (made by old guys mostly).

Hi janechenrose, if I am slimmer and younger like before maybe I do like to take part in a beauty contest again but now I cant say. I remembered maybe 10 0r 12 years ago, I've joined in a beauty contest in my town where I won as a First Runner Up, that experienced was made me brave and smarter. Beauty pagent is a very exciting competition to me because you can make friends, learned alot of things like putting make up, walking gracefully, answering the question with confident and to be proud for my achievements. That competitiom made realized that life is like a beauty pagent, you needed to learned how to be confident and to be proud for yourself no matter what.

I used to join beauty contest when I was a teen because my father wants me to. But now that I am in my twenties, I completely let go of the idea because I think I am not really cut out for it. Yes, I did enjoy those moments especially during the times when I was able to bagged the title but then it is not something which can make me completely happy. But I love watching beauty contests up to this day.
